Good mornin’, Lucille! That was pretty neat. Just a reminder that no matter how cool or famous you are, we’re not all that different. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good day, Texan! Love these type retrospectives. Found one on President Trump and will post it down below if I saved the link somewhere.

Good mornin’, and happy hump day! Some days you just want to be around familiar settings, so today I brought back one of my favorite coffee making machines. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

This article was attached to the coffee maker. Take a minute to read about how the other side lives. Maybe a daycare owner or two, even.

Line up y’all, breakfast is coming out of the oven in less than 20 minutes! It’s oeufs cocotte today for a more low carb kickoff.

Good morning Menagerie! That looks delicious. I haven’t eaten yet, and eggs are a good idea.

        Stella,

I did try a microwave omelet recently. It was reasonably good; it was certainly quick. I need to work on the technique, because it was just a little tough.

Menagerie’s oeufs cocotte is another dish I need to try.

I start with a generous amount of chopped up ham. But I have decided to try this with some really good sausage I have. It’s a little trouble to make, so I’m not sure I want to add the step of browning sausage. I don’t like putting bacon in it. Now matter how crisp you get it, it comes out soggy. That was in the original recipe I found.

Rarely do I find a recipe that I stick with and make over and over, but this one is a fave. It’s sure perfect for an individual serving. Although I did buy a big enough pot to do a couple of eggs and have plenty of room for meat and the other ingredients.

National Ratification Day – recognizes the act that officially ended the American Revolution. The day commemorates the ratification of the Treaty of Paris on January 14, 1784, at the Maryland State House in Annapolis, Maryland, by the Confederation Congress.

Morning czarina! Fine lineup today. I never had a pet that would tolerate “dressing up”.

Good mornin’ Czarina! Never again did I have a hot pastrami sandwich as good as when I lived in NYC, it’s a high bar to overcome.

For many years we had a killer Jewish delicatessen run by a man from NY. I sure miss that place. I bet it was open 50 years or so. I’d love to visit a really good New York deli if I could transport in and out like Star Trek. I really don’t want to make another trip that far. And then there’s the city ick factor. I tend to really dislike all cities. Including the one I live in.

Good day, Czarina! Suggestions from https://nationaltoday.com/ratification-day/ ….

      HOW TO CELEBRATE RATIFICATION DAY

      1. Visit the Museum of the American Revolution: Visiting the Museum of the American Revolution is among the best ways to celebrate Ratification Day. Browse through war memorabilia and learn more about the conflict.
      2. Visit the Maryland State House: The Maryland State House hosts an event every year on Ratification Day. See the Old Senate Chamber where the treaty was ratified.
      3. Fly the flag: Fly the same flag that was flown over the State House on Ratification Day. That flag is still flown there every year.

Doggies celebrating the Treaty of Paris…

Maybe if the signers had celebrated the treaty with pastrami sandwiches, we wouldn’t have been back at war with Britain in 1812 but instead sent King George III some take-out…
