Good morning, Menagerie! The arm needs rest. I also need to watch the angle of my arm when using the mouse. Thanks for asking.

Good mornin’, Lucille! This looks more like my kind of winter. Hope you’re getting better. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good morning, Texan! The weather today in Pampaneira had a high of 54 degrees. Quite doable, especially since it was sunny, too.
A nice hot cuppa would suit me fine. Be over later.

Hope your posts means your arm feels better.
Do you think that Tex may change his tag line now? He would then be bi-lingual.

Good morning, Reflection. Not 100% but not as painful as it was yesterday.
Have to admit that “Carpe’ your coffee” is the most clever instruction re the delightful brew ever.

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! I’ve been doing stupid things for a long time. This will enable me to have more time to nap, I suppose! I never thought about it that way! 😀

Mornin’ Tex! Surely it will be an interesting week. I’m praying for our President, his administration and the military. Also the Iranians, Venezuelans, Cubans, and all others who live under oppression.

There’s speculation that the Code Pink hags may have been tipped off about Trump going out to dinner a few months ago.

I know it’s now okay to jump on the anti MTG train, but I have mentioned in the past that I was never a fan. And I did live in her district before moving back to Tennessee. Someone that desperate to grab the mic and the spotlight ultimately won’t care how they get it, and they’d just as soon stab anyone in the back. That’s my firm opinion, and I’m sticking to it.
Mark Kelly, MTG, AOC, Thomas Massie, and I think, Ted Cruz, but I haven’t followed him enough to be dead sure on that one. There are plenty of the type, both sides. My son and I went at it a wee little bit over Thomas Massie. He (son) is actually better informed than me and a very astute and deep thinker, reminds me kind of of the way czar used to pull seemingly unrelated things together but my son lacks the military and lifetime of other experience czar had.
Anyhow, he’s a Massie believer. Me, I just think he’s an obstructionist without a presentable alternative plan who likes to throw a money wrench at Trump and walk away.

Your list is pretty spot on, although, like you, I’m not sure about my junior Senator. Someone said many moons ago that he probably would be a good fit at SCOTUS. I agree with that assessment. He seems to always be looking for a TV camera in his current spot.
I would tend to lean towards your side regarding Mr. Massie. There seems to be something in the Kentucky water, and it ceertainly needs to have a warning label on it, because I don’t want to drink that!
There’s a problem with our team in that they all seem to think they can be POTUS and everything is ultimately about them. I’ll give the opposition credit for sticking together when they need to.

Ted Cruz would be a good addition at the Supreme Court. His need to be President is rather sad. The people are not interested in that role for him and yet he can’t discern that.

Boy howdy do I agree with you about those two. MTG is probably more dangerous, because I think she is stupid on top of the rest of it. I am disappointed in Massie. I thought he was somebody who would do good things.

PS: The fact the Massie remarried to a much younger woman so soon after his wife’s death is also a red flag for me.

Yes, and what was the cause of his wife’s death? I have not been able to find it.

I don’t think the cause of death was announced. He remarried 16 months after her death.

Distinctly odd. Putting in the line about missing his first wife every day smacks of trying to quell criticism. Plus he used his wedding announcement as a fundraiser…”Thomas Massie For Congress”!! SMH!

Good morning, Tex, Menagerie and Wee,
Lively here this morning. The details that were missing in all the denials by MTG: The fact that she called the White House multiple times on that day regarding the dinner reservation. The fact that the President took the time to personally called her back to confirm. It would be like the President to try a peacemaking effort quietly.
Why would it be of such interest to Ms. Greene if she did not intend to show up at her “favorite” restaurant? Why was she very friendly with the head of Code Pink, a major opponent of the Trump administration?
Ms. Green’s friendship with the founder of Code Pink has further implications.
From the comments:
“… Neville Singham… He’s the one funding Code Pink and his wife is the one in the picture. Was she selling out America to the Chinese CCP through Neville’s wife? Maybe the FBI Counter Intelligence should take a long look at her relationship with Neville and his wife.”
The most charitable take: Was MTG’s phone tapped? Was she a useful stooge?
Neville Singham has disappeared.

Shortly after my retirement in 2008 I started listening to Rush. Prior to that I’d read the transcripts of his programs. I didn’t care for him on the radio at all and stopped tuning in until I moved to Vancouver in July of 2008. One day I decided to listen, got hooked and never missed a program until the day he went off the air. Miss him like I’d miss a brother.

Good afternoon, Czarina,
My favorite “Ginger” is too far away to kiss.
I have a favorite cookie recipe that uses marzipan. If you like a light almond flavor they are delicious. You don’t have to use the canned variety, you can make your own marzipan. It’s not so difficult, and avoids some of the more harmful sugars.

Clearing my desk is always a work in progress.
A light curry flavor can be pleasant, one of my favorites is Mulligatawny, a form of chicken soup with apple.
Our pharmacist is most helpful. When you need extra help, it’s good to know your pharmacist.
Thank you for the list, I’m surprised I could cover most of it.

Aus,
I like the versatility of quilts, when you need extra warmth, they’re quickly added. When you don’t they’re quickly removed.
I hope you enjoy making them, as an antidote to the weather, and also enjoy the companionship of quilting together.
