The origins of the trulli: a journey into the past
“The trulli are characteristic Stone houseswhich were built using a fascinating construction technique whose origins date back to prehistoric times. This technique, known as dry construction, is still used in the region today. The trulli developed from the prehistoric “thòlos”, dome-shaped stone buildings that can be found in many parts of Italy. The trulli of Alberobello are unique, however, as they have been used and developed continuously.”

Good mornin’, and happy Saturday! When I woke up this morning I thanked the Lord that I didn’t live in New York City, one more time. I found this vintage campfire coffee pot that I’ll bet makes some good coffee. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

The United States invaded Panama in mid-December 1989 during the presidency of George H. W. Bush. The purpose of the invasion was to depose the de facto ruler of Panama, General Manuel Noriega, who was wanted by U.S. authorities for racketeering and drug trafficking. The operation, codenamed Operation Just Cause, concluded in late January 1990 with the surrender of Noriega.[

Texan, a few folks in NYC are right now wondering just how the heck this psychopath got elected. I’m convinced there was plenty of fraud involving non-citizens voting along with the brainwashed citizens.
That’s certainly a nice size coffee pot. These mugs seem to be large enough for the first cup of the day…

One of my favorite times of the year. Cedar pollen count is at about 10,000. Only 7-8 more weeks of this!

Our most very awful is the pine pollen in early spring. Cars always yellow and it is awful!

For me, it is the falling leaves in the Fall. Nothing helps except Benadryl. I think I am allergic to the mold that causes he leaves to fall off the branches.

Chocolate covered cherries have been around for a long time, but I’m misremembering about the cherry Coke. Just looked it up and that did not come onto the market until 1985. I do remember drinking cherry flavored cola when we went to the local soda fountain. So somebody was making it.

I don’t think I will toss any fruitcakes and some are asking for paper straws to be banned because they dissolve in whatever you drink. I really like the chocolate covered Cherrys. Don’t get them very often.
