Good mornin’, and happy Monday! If you’re ever in Bedford, PA, you might stop by. I think her sister lives in a shoe. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Most are going to remember this name – Lina Khan. She was Brandon’s FTC head, and now she’s helping Mamdani’s all-female “transition team”. Birds of a feather…….

This man has an all FEMALE transition team? Anyone else see something odd there? Must be a hoot to work for.

I once worked a miserable 18 months at a large insurer when I was young. Probably 90% or so of the work force was women. It’s the most awful job I think I ever had.

After that, I gravitated toward jobs filled with men, and that was as different as night and day. No they weren’t perfect, and I was in an industry pretty unfriendly to women back in those days, but once I made my way, they were the best.

I will take working with men any day. I have three sons, numerous grandsons, and one beloved granddaughter. But that little gal is more trouble than a battalion of fractious soldiers.

No job is ever perfect ( ok, well maybe trust fund baby) but once respect for ones abilities is established, man or woman doesn’t ( nor shouldn’t) matter.

My dad was the in the middle of four boys.

I am the youngest of three boys.

            I have four sons.

First born grandchild? You guessed it Boy.

Then two years latter she happened….. I have rearranged my entire life for them, and my sun does rise and set on them both.

My husband comes from a family of eight kids, five of them boys. So, I’m fortunate to be in the middle of a bunch of guys all the time, but I have been blessed with some really great daughters in law. And two of them brought a new grandson each along with them.

Wow……5 boys? A complete line for the hockey team! I hope he wasn’t the youngest. LOL That would have to be hand me down hell.

To be honest, I’ve been around lurking for years, I absolutely adore when you and Stella post about family.

From what I have read in the past you are truly blessed and the grands are the icing on your cake.

A vociferously hateful group, more than likely, who live to lie just like their jihadi boss. Just ran across this from November 5th….

No One Should Be Surprised By This…

Doing a generic quick drive by here, apologies. I wish you all a good morning and hope and trust we all have warmth and comfort during the cold days ahead. Praise God for such a blessing as a cozy and welcoming home.

As always, special thanks to T for that hot coffee!

National Forget Me Not Day – reminds Americans of the sacrifices returning soldiers have made of body, blood, and limb. Created in 1921, the day reminds Americans that National Forget-Me-Not Day originally raised funds for services for returning injured soldiers. At the time, the existing hospitals were insufficient to support the numbers of returning disabled veterans.

Afternoon All. It warmed up just a tad here today and for the next few days, maybe. It is a bit foggy in places and there are clouds hiding a lot of the surrounding mountains.

I am late checking in because I had an appointment with the dermatologist to remove a lump from my forearm. It was not as bad as I expected, I fact, it didn’t hurt at all. They are really good at numbing the spot. I was told not to do anything strenuous for a few days……..I am guessing that means housework, etc. LOL

Hope you all can stay warm. Remember what my Mama used to say, “Put on some clothes.” LOL

Aus, always great to have an excuse to not vacuum or wash the windows.

Take care and, yes, put on some clothes!
