      I was always told that dogs could only understand one or two word directions. I don’t believe it at all. And, sometimes you don’t have to say anything and they seem to know.

        So true, aus! Our little Boston Terrier would know the difference between “Go get in your bed” and “Go get in the car.” I still think of that little buddy, though he’s been gone since 1962.
