Good mornin’, and happy Friday eve. The only thing that would make this week better would be for POTUS to actually get on a bulldozer and move some walls around! One of our office regular coffee makers this morning. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Just checked in on Twitter. All the lefties are crying about the new ballroom and lying about it a lot. Hakeem is threatening to go after the people who are donating the money to build it. He and Bernie are both idiots, but you already know that.

These cups don’t particularly match but they’d look good added into your collection…
Good ole BUNN reminds me of my 1970s office days and board meetings at Universal. All of the assistants rotated making coffee on a weekly schedule. And for the monthly board meetings, from the studio commissary we ordered a variety of bagels, lox (my introduction to this salmon delight), tomato slices, capers, and cream cheese. Anything left over was for underling consumption…
There are lots of perks to working in the film industry, offsetting the long hours and hard work.

Loved horror movies when I was a kid…
But as an adult I’m not the least bit interested. As for talk shows, long gone are the days where they were clever, entertaining, non-political and a great way to laugh and relax after a long day. Merv Griffin was generally every evening at my house because he had fun guests. Johnny Carson was only turned on Friday night because otherwise he was on too late for me to stay up and get to work on time the next day. He was and remains the only real master of the art.

I really loved the old horror shows, Bela Lugosi, Vincent Price, and the other actors. I think I lost interest in the newer horror movies in the 60’s because they just seemed to go for blood and gore.
Johnny Carson was the best. I only watched occasionally because he was on so late, but he was always funny. And, I don’t remember him ever being mean.

JOHNNY CARSON’S YACHT SERENGETI IS IN NEW BOOK
June 3, 2025 By: Diane M. Byrne
Whether you consider it serendipity or fate, Howard Smith would never have met the late Johnny Carson if he hadn’t retired in his 40s and moved to Malibu, California. In fact, the TV host and comedian just so happened to be a neighbor. They subsequently became quite close friends, too. In a new book, Howard shares that friendship with the world, including times spent aboard Carson’s yacht Serengeti.

Afternoon All. Cool and sunny here. I just got up. Didn’t get to sleep until 4:00 AM.
The dermatologist gave me some cream to use on my face which is supposed to burn the precancels off. It worked this time and really hurts. I was hoping it would be better this morning, but it is worse. All she told me to use on it is vaseline. I used it a year ago and it didn’t burn this much. I think I am just going to sit here and feel pitiful today. LOL
Hope your day is nice.

Yes, but it is hard to put them on because the skin is so tender.

Aus, so sorry about the pain. Bummer! All cancer victims, no matter what the stage, are entitled to complain a tad.

Another thing to try is Aquaphor healing ointment Advanced Therapy. It is mostly petroleum jelly (Vaseline), with a few other things (lanolin alcohol, glycerin and Bisabolol). I use it for eczema, and it is very good for that.
