    Afternoon All. Overcast and cool and feels, smells, and looks like rain. Don’t know if it will. I haven’t checked the weather forecast yet. I think it may have rained a little last night, though.

    I had a few errands to run and stopped and got gas. I left the gas cap on top of the trunk of the car and the gas door open. I am shocked to find it still there when I got home. LOL. The roads are really rough with a lot of potholes. Amazing.

    Well, the forecast on TV said snow on the mountains. Our mountains already got pretty well covered from that little snow we had last week. They look so pretty. Have a nice day and watch out for the weather.

    Well, we finally feel the effects of the government shut down. My oldest son has a stepson with Fragile X syndrome, which leaves him profoundly handicapped and challenged. He just started attending Tennessee Rehabilitation Center in Smyrna TN about a month ago. They work with adults with disabilities to teach them in job skills programs. It’s a residential facility, and our grandson loves it, and has adjusted well.

    Today they closed, supposedly because of the shut down, but they may not survive budget cuts, so everyone has to move out completely.
