It seems weird. I am probably one of the farthest North, or maybe THE farthest North here and our leaves are just starting to turn. The one outside my window is just starting to turn. I figure it must be protected by its location. I did see a few areas that are looking mostly brown with some orange, but not much.

Good morning, aus! Most of our trees are pine, but those that aren’t are the yellow-green leafy sort at the moment. Pretty all the way around.
We’re about twice as far from the Canadian border as you are. Not sure how close Stella is to the border.

That’s Debra Rapoport, a very avant-garde designer. Her costumes are most often flamboyant. She began designing with recyclables out of financial necessity. Now she’s known for her “sustainable wearable art”.
At her best, she can project a sort of bohemian elegance. Be aware she also has no reservations about posing nude or semi-nude in or out of her creations, if you seek further information.

Des Moines Schools Superintendent Dr. Ian Roberts taken into ICE custody after fleeing agents.
Roberts, originally from Guyana, has been under a final deportation order since May 2024. Despite that order, he continued to lead Iowa’s largest school district until his arrest this week.
