Mrs. T and I were talking last night, through the giggles whether he might hire his out-of-work daughter as his attorney. She’s got some time on her hands, it seems. I also saw something that said he’s got kids and in-laws throughout the DOJ, or at least had…. I believe there’s one more burrowed in somewhere. What are the odds……………

When I woke up this morning, I realized something. It gives me the chills when I see these large groups of loons attacking a conservative who only wants to talk. I finally realized what it reminds me of. I don’t watch zombie movies, but I have seen the previews. And, that is what comes to mind when I see these groups on the news. Zombies!!

Truth. At my Dr. appointment last month they took my blood pressure twice – once at the beginning of the visit and once at the end. The top number dropped 20 points.

LOL. Mine was 160/90 in the doctor’s office. I went home and it was 130/70.

Same here. Mine is always higher at the cardiologist’s office. I finally started keeping a log of my blood pressure, and took it with my blood pressure monitor to the doctor. They now believe me!

Interesting. Is this the last time switch? The Sunshine Protection Act, which passed the U.S. Senate in 2022 but stalled in the House of Representatives and did not become law.
The bill was reintroduced in subsequent sessions but has not advanced.

The New York Post reports that James Comey’s son-in-law abruptly resigned from his gig as a federal prosecutor Thursday — just minutes after the ex-FBI director was indicted by a federal grand jury. Troy Edwards Jr. quit his position as a senior national security prosecutor within the Eastern District of Virginia, which is the same office now prosecuting his father-in-law. In a one-sentence resignation letter addressed to new US Attorney Lindsey Halligan, Edwards said he was leaving “to uphold my oath to the Constitution and the country.”
ADD: Now that his daughter and his SIL are both out of work, maybe they will join his defense team?

Did you know that Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and James Madison ALL DIED on July 4? Jefferson and Adams died on the same day, in 1826, the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Madison died 10 years later on July 4, 1836.
When Adams died on July 4, 1826, his last words were an acknowledgment of his longtime friend and rival. “Thomas Jefferson survives”, Adams said, unaware that Jefferson had died a few hours earlier.
