    As with so many other things, “tolerance” has ben redefined into “accepting, validating and enabling”. In reality, you tolerate something that is a negative until, hopefully, you can do something about it. You can tolerate a tooth ache until you can get to a dentist. You can tolerate behaviour in a 2 yr old you wouldn’t tolerate in a 10 yr old or an adult – but even then, you should try to teach a 2 yr old that a particular behaviour is something that’s unacceptable and they should learn not to do anymore, to tolerance only goes so far.

    Putting up with/tolerating c**p may demonstrate patience, but it is no virtue!
