Good mornin’, and happy Friday eve! So we are now at about day 300 of lib’s losing their mind since the election and it’s a glorious thing to watch. Everyone is gearing up for Friday so I don’t want anyone to have to wait for coffee so we’re using the office go-to machine this morning. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee. I wonder how long Soros will keep paying for protesters????

National Hazy IPA Day – raise a glass to National Hazy IPA Day and enjoy the juicy and hoppy flavors found in Hazy IPAs. Once an obscure beer style, Hazy IPAs are now among the most popular craft beers in the country.

National Spumoni Day – I always thought this one was strange

    National Senior Citizens’ Day

National Brazilian Blowout Day – I already had short hair by the time this was invented

We’ll see him on the Other Side. In the meantime, there is still much earthly work to be done by Focus On the Family and like organizations for families residing in states such as California. There the legislature is working every day to destroy the family. Mom and Dad are being persecuted for believing/knowing that children DO NOT belong to the state.

      Rest in peace, Dr. Dobson.

Good Afternoon All. I really slept in this morning. It cooled off a little in the night but I had a little trouble going to sleep. Once I got there I didn’t wake up up until 10:30. Guess I slept better knowing I am going to get some new neighbors. It is a pretty day out.

Hope you all are having a good day.

    Confession time.

I was making banana bread because I had three overly ripe bananas. As I was putting the batter in the pan, I noticed that it was thicker than normal. Guess what? I forgot to put the BANANAS in the banana bread! Fortunately I caught it in time.

    Must be old age.

Perhaps your subconscious mind was thinking that the bananas could be made into a puree to pour over the bread, thus creating the soon to be nationally known Stella’s Banana Puree Bread.

Here’s some Yahoo AI info about mistakes in baking which resulted in recipe improvement:

Banana Bread Cake: Overripe bananas intended for bread were used in a cake recipe, resulting in a moist and flavorful dessert.

Red Velvet Cake: A novice mistakenly added too much food coloring, creating a vibrant cake that became a hit.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake: A baker accidentally used baking soda instead of baking powder, resulting in a fluffy cake instead of cookies.

      So you never know!

LOL. I went to my kid’s house for dinner last night and my DIL forgot to put the sugar in the first batch of pancakes. They were even good without it. And, she is still young.

      Good evening, Stella,

It occasionally happens to all of us.

Generally, it happens when something breaks the rhythm of what we are doing, or the way we are accustomed to doing it.

A lot of times when we make mistakes, we can track it back to a distraction of one sort or the other, and we’re sidetracked.

It’s not necessarily related to age, but to focus.

You caught it when you noticed something different, and focused on why, and made an adjustment.

So cheer up, you were just temporarily out of focus!

(And enjoy your rescued banana bread, you clever woman.)
