    Good mornin’, and happy hump day! I guess the POTUS decided to let the media catch their breath yesterday since the big thing was taking away more security clearances from 35-40 more traitors. Brought back one of our favorite steampunk models. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

    Well, mornin’/afternoon all. I almost made it. Sunny and nicely cool out for right now. It got pretty warm in the evening yesterday. Still can’t complain.

    Good news!! When I went out this morning the couple that I had given the info to on the apartment downstairs was on the porch talking to the realtor. They have taken the apartment. She said she asked them if they wanted to think about it and they said, no, they were taking it. I hope this works out. They go to my church and I attended their wedding. They are a very nice young couple and the husband works where my son does. I doubt I will be having any more pot problems.

    This isn’t really new. I’ve been writing for a while about how the financial schemes in Afghanistan worked.

    The Taliban weren’t making money from drug sales, but from ‘taxing’ foreign aid even long before they officially took over.

    The Department of Education (DOE) plans to cut federal funding from five Northern Virginia school districts. Although the decision comes after they refused to change policies allowing boys to use girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms, the defunding includes the district that facilitated the secret abortions. Officials at Fairfax County’s Centerville High School arranged and bankrolled abortions for girls without so much as a phone call to their parents back in 2021.

    Hope everyone had a good day.

    These days I am either really early, or really late.

    Missed the Tex’s mean, clean coffee machine. And Lucille’s silver cup. Chocolate pecan pies? Such luxury.

    And I missed Czarina’s bacon and brownies to go with it. Ah, the wonderful aromas.

    Appreciate Menageries good wishes, I’ll to try to catch her tomorrow.

    But the news of Aus’s new neighbors? I’ll take good news anytime. And as Lucille pointed out, an answer to prayer with an extra touch of God’s goodness.
