Good mornin’, and happy Monday! Quite the winning weekend, and apparently, POTUS has some more meetings with others today. While even playing some golf. I’m sure the media is shocked that they’re having to work on these Trump trips. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee.

Good day, Czarina! No to the water park. Haven’t been to one since the 1990s. However, gorging on these chocolate truffles would make my day….

Photo of men from the Buffalo Soldiers 9TH CAVALRY

Constituted on July 28, 1866, in the Regular Army as the 9th Cavalry and organized September 21, 1866, in Greenville, LA, the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th Cavalry served selflessly and dedicatedly through the settling of the Great American Frontier. The unit saw constant field duty from 1867 to 1890, protecting travelers and forts throughout south and west Texas. Soldiers of the unit earned 15 Medals of Honor during their service on the frontier: 11 by enlisted men and 4 by officers. During the Spanish-American War, the unit captured a Spanish blockhouse defending the city of Santiago; consequently, a blockhouse appears on the regimental crest. The unit continued to serve through the Philippine Insurrection and was eventually inactivated during World War II in North Africa.

SCOTUS Justice Thurgood Marshall’s grandfather was a Buffalo Soldier. And Colin Powell is descended from a soldier also.

This is true, in my opinion, and is a lot of what’s wrong with teenagers, even young ones. Yes, they can make bad moral choices, and yes, they have serious consequences. It is a blight on the world, and society, that people think they can do anything they want and not face consequences mentally and morally.

Even Christians want the leeway to interpret the Bible to fit their own desires. No. I’m going to town with you on this one. If you believe that you have the wisdom, grace, and divine knowledge to authoritatively pronounce God didn’t say what he said, and scholars and teachers, and 2,000 years of unchanged teaching handed down from Jesus’s own disciples is wrong, you’re not ever going to grow in holiness, your soul is in peril, and yeah, you might seek help from a psychiatrist to fix what you broke.

Afternoon All. In deference to some of you, I won’t mention how not hot it is here.

I have a chiropractor appointment later and this afternoon the rental person is coming. Had to straighten up a little bit.

    Have a nice day.
