A very good morning Lucille,
Just popped in to see if you had posted.
And I was rewarded with photographs of a lovely seaside and shells.
That beautiful shell is an Epitonium scalare, commonly known as the Precious Wentletrap.
Early on they were indeed “precious” as in costly. Here’s a bit of history.

Good morning czarina! Catching up on two days here. From yesterday, I have a grandson with Fragile X syndrome. I’d never heard about it until my son married his mother. And mmm, fresh lemonade in the summer! My youngest grandson had some of mine for the first time a few weeks ago and demanded to know why the stuff he has elsewhere does not taste the same.
