Stellars….
The most abundant wild bird in the world is the Red-billed Quell of Sub-Saharan Africa…
The most abundant domesticated bird is the chicken…
Common Kingfisher…
Fly high today!

Good mornin’, Lucille! Several birds that don’t appear to be from around these parts. As I’m becoming more seasoned, I’ve started paying more attention to what’s flying around me. Coffee’s ready ma’am.

Pretty! My grandchildren spent a week at a farm camp at the beginning of summer. Conner has decided roosters are his least favorite animal. “They just going around doing that very annoying cock a doodle do” whenever they want!”
On the other hand, cats are his favorite because they don’t bark and hip all the time and they pretty much leave you alone. I think Conner and cats have personality traits in common.

Morning Menage! Connor never met my cat. Every morning she yowls loudly until she is fed. If too much time goes by (in her head), she starts tearing up paper – envelopes, bills, printer paper – whatever she can find.

Morning Stella! Having never had a cat, Conner has them on somewhat of a pedestal. Also, he loves a game called Battle Cats and I think he’s let fantasy influence his opinion. He’s nothing if not opinionated. Tells me dogs only like people because they know there are bones inside us.

LOL. I never considered that.

I forgot to mention that Luna also bites me if I don’t get up quickly enough to suit her.

Stella,
What a good morning “kiss”.
Ouch!
Hope she’s sweeter, later, when she looks at you with those lovely eyes.

Good day, Menagerie! Is Conner into UFOs? Maybe he would like a cat T-shirt to remind him of both kitties and outer space aircraft….

Obviously hard workers from the equipment in the back. But only the basics for the car.
No knowledge of English and driving in a very busy area.
Creative use of the phone to translate back and forth using English to Spanish.
It was a good day when they met the Good Samaritan, who had the knowledge and equipment to address the situation, quickly and efficiently.
That replacement wheel was severely neglected.
God bless him, indeed.

Good evening, Lucille,
How thoughtful of you to find that t-shirt.

Good mornin’, and happy Monday! Hard to believe that it’s only been six months since DJT was sworn into office. So much WINNING! Coffee being made by something familiar looking, but not likely your Daddy’s Mr. Coffee. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Now that’s a maker deserving of center place on your sideboard, Texan. Nice cup, too.
This 12ozer would certainly draw comments.. Can also be used as a pen holder…

Good evening, Czarina,
I must have missed the Lamington cake last year. I had to search it.
Bonus, I found a new recipe site.

Mornin’ All. Overcast and somewhat humid right now. We are supposed to get rain a little later.
Waiting for an inspection visit from the rental agency and then having to sign a new lease. I sure hope there are no snags since there is nothing available anywhere near my price range right now.
Well, have a nice day wherever you are.

Good evening, ‘mom,
Perhaps because it was not a full year lease?
Hope all went well.

You are probably right. Also, I just thought of it, but it was a little bit of a shock and adjustment to move in to this place in the cold and snow after the last apartment. And, then, a few months later the weather was totally different, and a new adjustment. I guess I noticed the difference more in this place. It is more exposed to the weather.

Good afternoon, aus! It’s been sprinkling here today but tapering off now. Looks like we’re ready to pass it off to Montana any moment.
Praying that all is well and a new 1-year lease (at least) will be completed by evening.

The video says the Fire Aid concert raised 100 million dollars. That’s about 8 and a third thousand per home lost. (12,000 homes lost.) That’s not a lot, considering the costs in the area. But certainly, it would help in the interim of moving or rebuilding. (That’s assuming no overhead.)
Using those figures alone:
Pasco says 50 million dollars from Fire Aid was given to The Annenburg Foundation and distributed to about 120 non-profits. That’s about 416 and two thirds thousand per non-profit. (With no real vetting, it seems.)
Better off utilizing an existing non-profit, rather than applying as a homeowner?
