Good afternoon, Menagerie! I’m on an art kick at the moment…besides an antique jewelry kick. Check this white and yellow gold ring with white and champagne diamonds…it’s only $4,900 at Era Gem…

Mornin’ All. Cloudy and humid here this morning. Don’t expect rain, but it sure feels like it could.
Coffee and breakfast outdoors looks good. Enjoy your day.

Did you know……………in CA state workers are only required to show up 2 days per week. Their forceful boss tried to get them to come in 4X and they told him to shove it. Any of you hear this on the “news”? I hadn’t. Hair-Gel sure is a force to be reckoned with! 😀 😀

Yeah, all that will go the way of the Epstein files. Don’t think so. Essentially, from what I’m seeing about Obama and cronies the last days, they are openly acknowledging our government was overthrown. Clearly you can see from the endless, and why is it again we are allowing it, court battles that the rule of legitimate government has not been functional since at least 2008.
My prediction is nothing gets done. Some battles must be fought. Sometimes you do have to break and crush what is existing. Sometimes, you have to tear down and fix the whole thing.
No, I’m not talking about civil war, but massive accountability and correction. If it does not happen, the rot remains.
It will not happen.

Good morning Menage! I tend to agree with you, but still hold some hope in my heart.

Morning Stella. I’d have more hope if it weren’t for the Republicans. It’s not the Dems who dash my dreams, it’s our side, and the willingness of the people to lie down and die.

Good mornin’, czarina! I remember when frozen daquiri’s were all the rage. They were pretty tasty, I have to admit! Not sure if the retainer is the one I used to wear, or the one I pay to my attorney! Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

I really like frozen daiquiris. And, I am reminded of a time right after I was first married when we were visiting another couple and they were making them in the blender. A terrible storm came up and the power kept going out. We had just enough time to make another pitcher of daiquiris before the lights went out again. This happened over and over until we were all pretty loaded.

No video yet, but we heard Tulsi use the T word this morning on Fox News. Not just once, but several times. This is gonna get real, pretty soon.

Here is her interview with Hannity (last night, I think):

DNI Tulsi Gabbard called the plot “a treasonous conspiracy” to subvert the Constitution and called for full accountability. She confirmed that all related documents have been handed over to the DOJ. Meanwhile, former CIA Director John Brennan and ex-FBI Director James Comey are under criminal investigation for their roles in pushing the phony narrative. As President Trump put it: “I think they’re crooked as hell… maybe they have to pay a price for that.”

Thanks for finding this. It’s essentially what she said this morning. What got me was her somber tone. Conveying the severity of what they did. I wonder if her “absence” recently in certain high profile meetings was on purpose.

Elizabeth Warren thinks government-run grocery stores are a good idea. Not so fast!

I am convinced about that old statement of no sand left in the desert if the government took it over.

One of the foremost constitutional theorists of the founding generation, John Adams, observed, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”1 He wasn’t the only Founding Father to hold this view.
I have thought about this a lot. The reason I think it is true is that people want to steal, no matter what form of government. They either want more power, stolen monies, or the lower level government employees are flat out too lazy to do a good job.
Any government run by people cannot function without the highest moral standards. We, as a society worldwide, are in short supply of such people, and they do not gravitate toward government service.
