Happy Doggityday!
“The Veterinarian” (1961) Oil on Canvas – 21”x20”
“The Little House” (1921) Oil on Canvas – 28”x24”
“Puppy Love” (1926) Oil on Canvas – 28″x24″
Read a touching article about this painting…

At several websites I’ve seen the painting referred to as “Boy and Girl Gazing at Moon” in addition to “Puppy Love.” However, surely Rockwell wasn’t painting the moon in this scene. But I’ve also seen it referred to as “Sunset.” So who knows? LOL!

Thanks, Menagerie! Some OK days, some not. The fatigue and edema is sorta scary but doc wants me to continue walking as much as possible for the exercise even when I feel like I’m not going to make it to the post box and back. C’est la vie!

Good morning Lucille, I took a trip to the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA the first year that they opened many years ago and I highly recommend a visit. I bought his print “Looking Out to Sea” and have it displayed in my home. Love his illustrations.

Good mornin’, and happy Hump Day! A bit waterlogged, but our spirits are up as DJT continues to put W’s on the board with his legislation and at SCOTUS! Here’s a fancy Italian coffee/espresso machine that I’m trying to figure out how to work. Looks like the cockpit of a rocketship! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

In case anyone was wondering who the three “No” votes were from our team last night……..Here they are, but I’m pretty sure you could have guessed correctly – “Three Republicans – Sens. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and Susan Collins (R-Maine) – joined all Democrats in opposition”. Notice also that while Mr. Fetterman talks a good game, he never quite seems to vote that way.

Overall not different from the 3 Rays who negotiated changes to the original bill with the Speaker, then voted against it.

Mornin’ All. We were in the 50’s yesterday, and it didn’t quit raining until afternoon. All in all a pleasant day. Still cool this morning but very sunny. Hope this works its way on to you all.
On my way to Bible study, so got to go. Have a nice day.

A little different look at some of the “numbers” the presstitutes bandy about. Things are actually a fair amount better than they tell us…..I know, I was shocked as well!

I knew they had to have money in the game, the doctors were and are way too complicit with the Covid vaccines, and still push everything on parents. Further, there’s no way that doctors like my GP aren’t either getting incentivized with money, or held accountable through whoever owns their practice ( a Catholic healthcare organization in my case!!!) because they push all vaccines too. Remember my recent story about her telling me I needed a measles vaccine when I didn’t?
I don’t know enough to say I’m opposed to all vaccines, I have not studies the issue in depth, and I’m therefore unwilling to come down on either side of the fence. But I’m sure glad I am not a young parent having to work through this quagmire. I have done pretty much a 180 on my previous unqualified support of childhood vaccinations. They are giving kids things they don’t need, and the many of the vaccines are unsafe. And I now, after Covid, believe that just might be quite intentional by the Bill Gates type population reduction elites of the world.
Covid put in the permanent tin foil hat wearing community. I believe there are unknown evils these powerbrokers have at every level of society. Medicine, education, housing, employment, economics, the agricultural and energy fields. And none of there plans benefit mankind.
I can’t speak for other religions, my concern is with the log in my own eye, speaking about Catholicism and this stuff. Here’s what I mean. The hierarchy of the Church pushed vaccines, was complicit in closing Churches, depriving the faithful of access to the Sacraments, including, my God, my God, last rites. They are criminally complicit in the illegal alien deal, and therefore missing children, trafficking. Those are, I’m pretty sure, the tip of the iceberg.
The world is aligned against humanity and especially against children.

Lots of typos and left out words, but please know I shall go to Confession over there instead of their.

It’s not “HMO’s”. It’s insurance companies who incentivize the docs. Most insurance companies have PPO’s and HMO’s which are just delivery vehicles for their Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM) that they all own to push medications.

When You Made a Mistake…’: Billionaire Home Depot Founder Does 180 on Trump’s Tariffs, Presidency
https://redstate.com/katie-jerkovich/2025/07/15/when-you-made-a-mistake-billionaire-home-depot-founder-does-180-on-trumps-tariffs-presidency-n2191668
Billionaire Home Depot co-founder Ken Langone has done a 180 after blasting Trump’s sweeping tariffs, explaining, “When you made a mistake, admit it.”
During Langone’s appearance on Tuesday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” the co-founder of the home improvement store and top GOP donor said that he was wrong when he called out the president in April suggesting he was getting bad advice from advisors for the “46% tariff on Vietnam” and said the 34 percent rate on China was “too aggressive, too soon.”
“I am sold on Trump,” Langone told the hosts. “In fact, I will say this. I think he’s got a good shot at going down in history as one of our best presidents ever.”
A host on the panel pointed out the “real turnaround” from Langone, adding, “Because you didn’t want to vote for him!”
“I told you the reason,” the Billionaire donor responded. “I tell ya, I’m a believer. What I’m seeing happening is absolutely nothing short of a great thing. There’s a beat. People are walking with more bounce in their step. It’s all around.”
“Knowledge implies one thing, when you made a mistake, admit it,” Langone continued after the host pointed out how much the GOP donor bemoaned his binary choice of either Trump or former Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

National Hot Dog Day – love them

Afternoon czarina! I love desserts/jams containing cherries. Michigan is a big producer of cherries, especially the sour variety. Make great pies and preserves. Peak for cherries here is July 4.
