As a Detroiter, I can attest that Detroit Style Pizza is the best. Much better than Chicago Style, and I’ve lived there too. I do like pecan sandies too. Morning czarina!

I wasn’t familiar with the term – Detroit Style pizza, but after looking it up, I’ve had it numerous times. Too doughy for me now, but when I could burn off 8,000 calories a day, it was delicious. Growing up in Indiana, we had a place called Noble Roman’s chain that served this style of pizza and I tore it up for a few years!

I love the crunchy melted cheese on the edges. I hardly ever eat pizza of any kind these days, though.

Yum yum. Saved some leftover potatoes from the big meal yesterday and I’m making tattie scones, fried eggs, and bacon for brunch.

Tonight are the Detroit/Windsor fireworks, and people are already reserving their spots along the Detroit River. This is part of what they call the International Freedom Festival. The fireworks are launched from barges in the middle of the river, and it is a really impressive display. They weather will be clear, but it is HOT!

Sounds like a lot of fun, especially being able to watch riverside! We get a view of a good show from our backyard. Hope there will be another one this year.
The birds are loving the window feeder you told me about. One of the ducks waddles over from the pond to eat what they scatter on the ground. Now she quacks to complain when pickings are slim. I’m feeding her now too.

Neither party to the ceasefire has confirmed this.
“Or the you go first, then I’ll go” strategy because confirming this first looks “weak”.
Hence the Trump announcement.

The missions “in process” continue until they end, i.e. Iran drones fly until they arrive at TLV and get shot down, same for missiles which take many hours to fly from Iran to Israel. That’s why it’s “wind down” ceasefire and at 24hrs all is over .This is my understanding of it.
