Good mornin’, Lucille! It’s amazing what they have made out of the desert when you compare to some of their neighbors. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Afternoon All. It has cooled off again here after the rains we got. But, the sun is out bright and shiny and it is a beautiful day. I actually had to pull the covers up early this morning.
Hope you all are having some nice weather, too.

Good day, Texan! The deserts bloom. Coffee aficionados may be interested in the following from AI….
Several brands produce coffee beans grown in Israel, primarily in the Galilee region. Notable brands include:
1. Café Hillel
2. Galilee Coffee
3. Coffee in the Clouds
4. Kfar Blum Coffee
These brands highlight the growing coffee industry in Israel, which is relatively small but gaining recognition for quality and sustainability.

I will have to look into these brands of coffee!

Whatever your beliefs are regarding vaccines, RFK is doing his best to at least restore confidence in the system. If he didn’t do this, I don’t know that the public would ever believe another word they said.

I, for one, am so glad to see this. They have to win back our confidence in them by being transparent and doing the right things, like real tests, not just words.

Morning czarina! I own a bunch of sewing machines. Oldest is a Singer from the 1920’s, which I gave to my daughter. The one I use most now is only about 15 years old.

My husband bought me a Sears brand back when we first married. I still have it and it has been a great sewing machine since 1967.

I have a Singer that my mother bought in 1967! It still works. I bought my newer machine at Sears, but it isn’t a Kenmore brand.

Yes, it is a Kenmore and still works great. Back in the 70’s I made two backpacks, a down coat, a tent and some other camping equipment with that machine.

I wear blue a lot since it is my favorite color and I am trying to make better health sources. I want to be in good health when I die. I do spill a lot in the kitchen, but rarely cut myself.

Good day, Czarina! Acts of kindness would include weeding your elderly neighbor’s garden, fixing lunch for a kitchen klutz, or sewing up a nice kitchen tablecloth made specially for the lunch.

Not sure why blue should be worn regarding health choice contemplation, but if you look good in blue, then go for it…

Morning everyone.
No, I don’t want to be in a war, anywhere in the world. But the number of people who think Israel should bare their necks and wait for death astounds me. And then there is the small matter of fact that Muslims in general and Iran most specifically, hate us and actually are enemies of America and Christianity and freedom.
A well informed and thinking person can easily research many sources, inform themselves well and factually, and come to the conclusion that Islam is incompatible with any independent government, and all other religions. As well as atheism.
A little more thought and investigation will allow one to conclude that the fanatics are not content with their own homelands, but intend to take over the world.
If the occupations of college campuses, riots, etc. have not convinced people, then they should do a little more research and look at Muslims insisting on praying in streets, in courtyards of churches, and in the aisles of airplanes. Walking around streets and insisting western women put on the hijabs they carry.
You can poke your head in a hole, but your butt’s gonna get blown off anyhow.

I have often said that so many muslims not only hate Christians and other religions, but they also hate themselves.

Agree, Menagerie. We all know that life under the Shah, before Jimmy Carter’s stupidity in losing Persia to the jihadists, wasn’t perfect. But it sure was a lot more free then than what today’s horrid government allows.
A friend sent me this delightful fellow’s first YouTube report on the Israeli military successes in Iran last evening and it was most informative. This is his most recent posting….
His name is Mahyar Tousi. From what I can gather he’s a non-Muslim Persian monarchist who lives in England. His father has been prohibited from leaving Iran and is stuck there with all the other Iranians who are celebrating today. His praise of President Trump’s part in the subterfuge leading up to Israel’s taking out the nuclear threat is wonderful to hear.
My heart goes out to the Persian people who want to be free to govern their own lives and not be dictated to. A majority of Iran is pro Israeli actions and there are reports that the regular military is defecting and potentially planning the overthrow of the hated regime. Let’s hope this is true.

Fri, June 13, 2025 by The Center Square
“As a proud U.S. Army veteran, I’m thankful President Trump is celebrating the Army’s 250th birthday with a grand, patriotic parade,” James Fitzpatrick, director of the Center to Advance Security in America, told The Center Square.
