Good day, Texan! Yes, that fish was included in an article in either Chinese, Japanese or Korean; so I’m not sure what type of fish it is. But strangely enough, its side markings look like a blurred version of one of those languages. LOL!

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! I’ve asked Mrs. T if we could frame this and hang it near the front door for people to see when they walk into the casita…….she says NO! Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good mornin’, and happy Saturday, kids! It’s going to be a pretty quiet long weekend here at el Gordito, so I thought we would go old school today. A little outdoor cowboy coffee. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

That’ll do it! Thank you sir. Weekend felicitations.
I am patiently waiting for those little guys who used to pop out and finish the cobbler’s work at night to get here and cook me breakfast, do a little cleaning. What was that fairy tale? Might’ve been a Mother Goose something.

Good morning, Menage! I wish I had a couple of those guys here too.

Morning Stella. We had two whole days of sunshine before the rains came again this morning. I feel like we have the entire world’s supply of rainfall here over TN this month.
And the forecast next week for St. Louis does not look good either.

For us, either.

Why so much rain? Part of the answer is the earth is balancing itself.
Hunga Tonga–Hunga Ha’apai is a South Pacific underwater volcano. It erupted on December 20, 20,2021.
It was visible from space.
https://www.nasa.gov/earth/tonga-eruption-blasted-unprecedented-amount-of-water-into-stratosphere/
The effects were massive. This is a long article regarding the explosion.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Hunga_Tonga%E2%80%93Hunga_Ha%CA%BBapai_eruption_and_tsunami
One study estimated that the water vapor will stay in the stratosphere for up to eight years, and influence winter weather in both hemispheres.

Good afternoon Menagerie,
That’s a most pleasant, Grimm’s Fairy Tale. “The Elves and the Shoemaker.”

It may be my favorite.

National Brother’s Day – got one of these
National Wyoming Day – where my fave national park resides
National Aviation Maintenance Technicians’ Day
National Escargot Day – haven’t eaten one in years. Kinda expensive I recall.

That’s wonderful, Czarina, about your GGS. I’m assuming he’s graduating from high school and then on to USMC boot camp. Will he be having his training at Camp Lejeune?
