Good mornin’, and happy Friday eve, kids! Love to see these college “kids” continue to protest and gather more and more hooligans in one place as it makes it easier to round ’em up! Lots of coffee all day long today! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Not sure what’s going on. I’ve posted four coffee makers and the entire posts are disappearing. Please check spam, Miss Stella. Someone else is gonna have to make the coffee today.

Mornin’ All. It is a glorious day here, clear skies, nice breeze, and in the 50’s. There is still snow on the top of the highest mountains and the scene is beautiful all around us

Got lots of little errands and jobs to do today. Hope you all have a great day.

Looks like their choice has been made. Hopefully it will not be for someone as divisive as Francis…or someone who wants to play footsie with Islam.

I’ve been reading this for a few days. I don’t think even many liberal priests would comply. It’s an automatic excommunication, one of the most solemn vows a priest takes.

This may just backfire on them. It has the power to unite not only American bishops and Cardinals, but those around the world. It might be a good thing in the long run.

Priests have died rather than break the Seal. There’s a saint who died at the hands of a king, after torture. He wanted the Queen’s confession from her priest. He didn’t get it.

I don’t see how this can stand up legally. Also, there’s a simple way around it. Parishes will choose to use the confessional booth again and that will protect the priests.

I hope this is not too frivolous of a suggestion. But for those not familiar with this priestly sacred obligation, perhaps viewing a fictional depiction entitled “I Confess” would bring about a bit of understanding. It’s a 1953 film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, starring Montgomery Clift. He plays a priest who has heard the confession of a man who has committed murder.

Thanks Lucille. I can tell you this, you’ve not seen a fight like this will be if they arrest and prosecute a priest. The Church, the Pope, the bishops, and many, if not most Catholics in the pews will really actually fight this in the courts, in the media, and damned sure in the ballot box.

I can tell you this, the backdraft will be unbelievable if they arrest and priest. The Pope, bishops, and American pew sitters will go toe to toe in the courts, media, and especially in the ballot box. The most negligent Catholic wants to depend on the Seal of Confession because you never stop thinking about someday going back, no matter how long it’s been.

To my knowledge, I’ve never had to confess a crime. Well, I guess if I was British I couldn’t say that now, with their speech laws. Back to the point, I nor anyone else want anyone but that priest and Jesus to know what I confess.

Trump Names Jeanine Pirro as Interim D.C. U.S. Attorney

    Comment:

“It will be interesting to see if this is challenged in court. Trump’s own criminal defense team made the argument that the special counsel wasn’t constitutionally permissible because he came from outside government. They were likely correct. Interim USA appointments usually are awarded to prosecutors already inside the government for this reason.”
