    Good mornin’, and happy hump day! This one reminds me of Pothole Pete after the way he got hammered yesterday by Sec. Duffy for apparently doing little to nothing during the last four years! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

    If anyone thinks the Country is being run by the “best and brightest” we have to offer, please have them read this short article. My suggestion is to attach one of these “astronauts” to the arm of each well-intended Congress-critter or Senator and then kick them out of El Salvador……..with Junior attached.

    For those who don’t think politics is bloodsport, I would ask you to watch what happens over the next 12-18 months here in Texas. We have a sitting squishy Lindsay Graham-type R Senator, who is being challenged by our seemingly blue-collar AG who just came through a bloody impeachment trial successfully and is loved by us working stiffs and MAGA. It will not be pretty. But it will be fun to watch!

    National Pathway Day – Pathways, also known as Academies. Today we are celebrating the industry-themed Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses for high school and Community College students that use the industry to prepare them for both their career and college. 

    National Banana Day – good choice

    National Bean Counter Day – I presume they mean accountants

    National Orchid Day – lovely

    National Healthcare Decisions Day – like advance directives

    National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day – uhm, nope. Not even fancy lounging pjs

    Good afternoon, All. Overcast but a little warmer today. I think I am going to have to ask to have my LR thermostat looked at. I thought there was something wrong with it, but now I am convinced. I couldn’t sleep last night and got up about 1:00 to watch TV and I noticed the baseboard heater was on. It was up to 72* in here. I like it about 68*. The thermostat is now set at 50*, so I doubt it is even working.

    Well, hope the sun is out where you are and it is a beautiful day.

    It is snowing like crazy here. It is melting on the blacktop, but when I first looked out, there were huge flakes and it was very thick. They mowed the very green grass just the other day. It has been like this for between an hour or two. ?????
