Good mornin’, Lucille! Those are from the days when there was some actual thought put into designing an automobile for beauty, too! Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good day to you, Texan. I’d love to tool around in that Jordan Playboy. This was the first ad they put out in 1923

Good day, Miz WeeWeed! So far for me it’s been an H of a day. Started getting phone calls when still in bed at 9:00 am, none of which would leave a message. When I finally decided to pick up, it was some sort of a scam indicating that people were using my info to get loans in Florida!
Anyway, the rest of the morning I was on the phone talking with my ID theft prevention people, with my bank and a bunch of consumer credit companies. Still shaky and had to totally change my clothes because they were completely sweated through.
I hope all scammers have grisly ends.

Sorry this happened to you.
Glad you have protections in place.

Unfortunately, it’s gotten worse. I called my bank just to go over a few things once again and they say there is no record of anyone speaking to me today about this issue. I gave them the name of the person I spoke with and they indicated there was no one by that name working there.
So it’s just a waiting game now, I guess.
Say a prayer for me as I’m more than a little upset.

Aus, it’s a very esoteric reference.
Funny when you understand it, but a little hard for those who aren’t familiar with the story behind the terminology.
Lots of allusions to science fiction these days.
It was once an inspired by real science, and an inspiration for future developments.
It devolved into largely science fantasy. I hope we see a return to real scientific inspiration. Real science fiction demands scientific expertise and literary skill.

Good mornin’, and happy Friday eve! Hope everyone enjoyed the roller-coaster ride from yesterday! Plenty of coffee available for today as well! Using a little AI for our steampunk model today, since science fiction is one of our themes! Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

I used to make cinnamon rolls with crescent rolls by flattening them out and putting cinnamon and sugar on them and rolling them back up and baking them. It worked really well. And, I also used to make homemade doughnuts by making doughnuts with them and frying them in oil and rolling them in sugar and cinnamon.
I had two siblings, but no farm animals. I’m working on the Erase Self-Negativity.

Good day, Czarina! I’m only going with farm animals today. Bless their precious little or big hearts!

French Quarter Fest starts today. I think of it as Jazz Feast without the headliner acts, but all the food and no entry fee.

Today is my mother’s birthday. She was born on April 10, 1906. If still alive, she would be 119 years old. Happy Birthday, mom!

“May her memory be a blessing”.
It reflects the thought you’ll never really die as long as someone remembers you with love.
Put in another way,
Philippians 1:3
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
KJV
(And I ask for an additional blessing for that person in the Lamb’s Book of Life for the lesson or the goodness I remember.)
It helps.
