Good mornin’, Miss Wee! I hope our nutty neighbors to the north get their stuff together pretty soon, or we won’t be hearing them speaking Canadian much longer. Coffee’s ready, ma’am.

Good mornin’, and happy Monday! The start of another work week for us but just another day that ends in a Y for the Trump team. Here is an antiique drip model that I’ve not noticed before. I guess after the brew is done, you remove the top section and replace with the lid you see? Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

looks a little mixed up with the brewing part on, but would be very nice when presented without the metal part at the set up breakfast table.

When I found this one, there were several others that were set up just like this one. As I note, I can only assume the top section contains the coffee grounds and is then removed when the brewing has been completed. Otherwise, I got nothin’.

Yes on taters, cooked just about any way, but especially fried.

Wasn’t that simple shell amazing? And this, a fossil? To think that here was something equally huge living in that shell at one time? Oh, my. Escargot for a crowd?

There are those who think “Signalgate” was all planned by the Administration…and I’m not ruling that out at all.
“Signalgate” is a Masterclass in the application of Useful Idiots – A theory
ARTHURINCALI – MAR 26, 2025
“Never attempt to win by force what can be won by deception.”
― Niccolò Machiavelli, The Prince
I lean towards a theory of “Signalgate” being intentional1, starting with some of the members the chat. You have Vice President JD Vance, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller. These are all heavy-hitters in the admin and most former military with the training and experience around handling sensitive information. The Signal messaging app was not some new piece of technology handed out to them as if they were natives of the New World with a Musket.
Pretending they are clueless about operational security doesn’t pass the common sense test.
These folks regularly make the rounds on the cable news circuit advancing the policies of the administration. If the interview goes well and has catchy sound bites, maybe a few Op-Eds will hit the internet.
In the Signal GC, specific policies regarding issues with Europe, Red Sea trade defense, and the inability of the EU to counter these threats are laid out.
Thanks to The Atlantic, these positions have European policymakers and leaders full attention.

I honestly don’t agree with that. More likely that one or more of the following happened:
1. Whoever set up Mike Waltz’ phone added Goldberg with his initials to the group.
2. An aide accidently or intentionally added Goldberg to the chat.
3. Walz is lying, and actually did know Goldberg (for either innocent or nefarious reasons) and added his contact himself.
4. Walz either intentionally or accidentally added Goldberg to the chat.
Signalgate has been nothing but bad for the Trump administration. It’s a distraction that isn’t needed right now.

Supposedly, all high-level staff phones are supplied through the CIA. This was done with the prior administration as we know who wasn’t running anything. If the IC programs all the phones with this app, how hard would it be for them to add a snitch here and there and be able to hide it from almost anyone.

That is my understanding, and I wouldn’t be surprised.

It seems to me there are too many crises. How much is planned distractions to get the enemies and the media off in too many directions writing, speculating and suing so the real work can be done?

We all knew there would be resistance from the left. But self-inflicted wounds need to be kept to a bare minimum, indeed.

My New Brunswick relatives cross the border all the time to buy American dairy products. Due to the tariffs Canada places on them, it’s cheaper to make the drive.
