    THE BEACH

    Come to the beach

    Where the sea is blue

    And little white waves

    Come running at you.

    A wave comes splashing

    Over your toes

    You just stand still

    And away it goes.

    We’ll build a castle

    Down by the sea

    And look for shells

    If you’ll come with me.

    National Fruit Compote Day – not as popular as it used too be

    National Pig Day – I always think of Arnold on “Green Acres”

    National Peanut Butter Day – didn’t we have this day recently? No problem, I’ll eat it again.

    National Dadgum That’s Good Day – says it is a Southern thing

    National Horse Protection Day – for so many centuries they were necessary, now they are a decorative accessory

    Global Unplugging Day – I don’t see this catching on

    National Minnesota Day

    National Self-Harm Awareness Day

    National Sunkist Citrus Day – only Sunkist ?

    National Play Outside Day – first Saturday of each month

      Good day, Czarina! God bless all the humans who have started rescue missions for horses needing protecting. These wonderful animals often get very poor treatment around the world and the U.S. is not exempt. I try not to read too many such stories because they haunt me so.

      Apparently pigs can eat oranges, though I’m sure the citrus brand name wouldn’t be recognized by the little porkers, even if they are much smarter than was previously thought. However, some websites say the rind should be removed before serving oranges in a compote.

      And animals of the porcine variety also can eat peanuts…

      Regarding “dadgum”…yes, that was heard a lot years ago (even as a swear word) but I haven’t been within earshot in recent times. It’s doubtful many Minnesotans would recognize the word, especially the gazillion newbies from overseas.

      As for Global Unplugging Day, National Self-Harm Awareness Day, and National Play Outside Day, a day outside in the beautiful sunshine like that showing in the Idaho Panhandle today, would be helpful for humans and animals alike.

    Afternoon All. Slept in really, really late this morning. It is sunny again today and may get almost up to 50* which seems astounding.

    I wonder if today will be as interesting as yesterday. Somebody involved in the denotations with Zelensky said he had put off signing the agreement two other times, one was in Munich. He said he would do it when he came to the White House. I think that he thought President Trump would be so desperate to get it signed that he could pull this stunt. Some Dems were saying Trump and Vance set this trap up, but it was most likely Zelensky. But, I believe Trump was OK with the world seeing what Zelensky was really like.
