A strikingly beautiful winter photo, Stella.

And a photo of a home that manages to look cozy, even in winter, Lucille.

    Lovely.

Good mornin’, and happy Saturday, y’all! Another work week of WINNING including a court case late yesterday. Just four weeks into this modern marvel and I know that I’m as excited as a little schoolgirl! You may not think this coffee maker is real, but it is and it symbolizes what we’re seeing. A machine running on all eight cylinders. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Here’s an article about this one and some other variations. They only run about $13,000, so you might also get one for your beach house while you’re at it!

I’m putting a big bet on none of our hoi polloi hanging out very long for their next climate soiree’ later this fall down in Brazil. The dude running the Country is advising folks to “sleep under the stars”. I’m guessing that the US of A will not have an official delegation heading to this grifters paradise. Unless they are to get a tongue-lashing like what occurred in Germany yesterday.

I think we’ve beaten the libs so bad that they may never recover. They’re resorting to things like this – “Conservative Girl” makeup, and how bad our ladies do it. This embarrassing and just sad. But I will offer them another shovel if they break the one they have.

National Red Sock Day – I have white socks. Have not embraced colored socks.

National Singles Awareness Day – know lots of them

National Gumdrop Day – no food today, just candy

National Wisconsin Day – don’t think I’ve ever been there

I have white socks and dress socks that are predominantly black. I can get behind a day of candy!

I have socks of a large variety of colors and patterns, but I most often pick gray, navy or black.

Wisconsin is a beautiful state. For our honeymoon we camped at Governor Dodge State Park, which is near Dodgeville, where Land’s End is located. Beautiful spot. Nearby is the House On The Rock (crazy) and Spring Green, where Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin is located. Not far away are the Wisconsin Dells, and the Circus World Museum is located in Baraboo.

At the western boundary is the Mississippi River. Lovely little towns to visit.

Good day, Czarina! YES on red socks, gray, pink, blue, black, white, green and colors in-between. I am a sock person and clunky-but-comfortable black leather Wolverine Oxford types which are no longer sold (good thing I bought two pair at the same time).

Sorry but I couldn’t care less about a singles “awareness” day. Sounds mighty patronizing to me.

Never been to Wisconsin either and not likely to go at this stage of life. Although if someone were to provide unlimited gumdrops as an incentive I just may give it further consideration…

Good afternoon all. I woke up this morning hearing the snow plow working hard. I assumed we would have a cleared parking lot. NOPE! It was somebody else’s parking lot. Our has about 2/3 feet of snow in it. It snowed all day yesterday and into the night. I’m glad I decided to get a grocery delivery from Walmart on Thursday instead of waiting until this next week.

I hope none of you are snowed in. So, enjoy your day, whatever it looks like.

I know what that’s like! We are getting another 5″ or more snow tonight and tomorrow, and we already have several inches on the ground. My kind neighbor just shoveled my sidewalk, and said he will get out the snow blower tomorrow!
