Good morning everyone. In light of the bright, warm, sunny weather we’re having here, I thought an outdoor breakfast was good. Unfortunately, rain comes in tomorrow, but today, we probably will hit 70*!

Good mornin’, and happy Tuesday! Quite a day yesteray when with little effort our guy got an additional 20,000 armed personnel to watch our borders from the north and the south! And more of his picks are moving through the Senate. Slowly, but surely. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

Some thoughts on the modern-day d party. Are they narcissists? This author thinks so and tells us why. Self-inflated sense of importance – check. Demands admiration – check…………

Agreed with all of them T, especially the first one where it said “ignored the demands of the American people.” And if what we read is accurate, they still are. May it ever be so.

All through school when I was coming of age, especially high school, no one wanted to be seen as weak. Now they seem most proud of being “triggered,” or whatever kind of language they need to demand accommodations and petting.

Not going to end well for their generation. Life is brutal. Cars break down, toilets get clogged. Can’t count on the illegals being here to fix all that for them now, whilst they drink their blueberry smoothies.

National Create a Vacuum Day – science experiments with kids

National Thank a Mail Carrier Day – should I leave a note in my mailbox?

National Hemp Day – rope mostly

National Homemade Soup Day – I think this group can all get into this celebration!

    Just saw this:

North Koreans have reportedly been banned from eating hot dogs as part of a crackdown on Western culture infiltrating the hermit kingdom. Also some rice dishes popular in South Korea.

An interesting thing I read yesterday, and it’s important. USAID was created by JFK in an Executive Order and, therefore, can be abolished or changed by Executive Order. The funding is authorized by Congress.

I think what they will do is keep it under the eye of the State Department and limit funding to legitimate aid programs. Don’t know for sure, but the funding itself is protected by legislation (Foreign Aid Assistance Act of 1961), so that seems logical. Funny thing: I just looked at the Wikipedia entry for USAID, and as of this morning they are talking about USAID in the past tense (change from last night), so maybe they know something we don’t. More likely, they are just freaking out, as lefties tend to do.

Good mornin’ All. It is overcast here with new snow from last night. And, 3*. It isn’t going to warm up much today. And, there is a winter storm warning out for the next few days.

I have been hearing what I thought were planes flying very low over the house, which is a little scary when you are on the side of a mountain/hill. I heard it again this morning before I got up. Gave me chills because of the last two planes that went down. Why would they be flying so low and where were they coming from? Welllllll, it turns out it is the snow plow. I know they can make a lot of noise, but this one beats all. LOL

Hope all you down south enjoy your nice warm weather. My friend in Florida said it was 90* yesterday. And, all you guys up north enjoy the cold. Have a nice day either way.

Hang in there! Winter can’t last forever (I hope). Snow is almost melted here, and everything is brown and sloppy. I have to go to the pharmacy today, so I hope the clear weather holds.

I just hope I can get out of the driveway. There are two layers of ice and two layers of snow on top of it. But, I do need to go to the grocery store for salad fixings for tomorrow when my family is supposed to come over. If I can’t, I will just have to have them pick it up.

          Stay warm, Aus!

Smart thinking on your part about going out. If your family can come to visit, then having them shop for whatever you need makes sense.

Their vehicles are probably better in dealing with what is out there. I know they wouldn’t want you to risk injury.

    Copied this from X.

I do not think American Christians realize how perverse our international influence has become. The pastor of the largest church in Chile spoke at Lakepointe en Español last year. He explained that despite having a deeply traditional view of gender / family, they had begun aggressively teaching LGBT ideology in Chilean public schools… to the horror of Chilean parents. Why? Because Chile feared losing USAID if they didn’t. I didn’t understand what he meant until this week.
