Good mornin’, and happy hallowed Taco Tuesday, apparently! I don’t know about you, but I’ve been sleeping good this last week. I’m exhausted just watching all the WINNING! This coffee pot is a copper/sterling silver combo from Mexico. Keep your head on a swivel and carpe’ your coffee!

If you have low blood pressure this should help get it boiling. More dirty dealings in DC with the “Green New Deal”. As if you would be surprised. This goes across all departments as you know.

    Seen on Twitter:

The statement “Jesus was a refugee, so you should support immigration” is an example of both the Appeal to Emotion (specifically an Appeal to Pity) and a False Equivalency. This argument manipulates emotions by evoking sympathy rather than engaging with the complexities of immigration policies. It also twists the Word of God by misapplying Jesus’ historical situation to a modern political issue without proper context. While Matthew 2:13-15 describes Jesus and His family fleeing to Egypt to escape King Herod’s massacre, this was a divinely ordained event fulfilling prophecy, not a broad statement on national borders or immigration laws. Additionally, the argument wrongly equates Christ’s unique mission with governmental policy, ignoring passages that emphasize obedience to governing authorities (Romans 13:1-2) and the responsibility of nations to uphold justice (Proverbs 29:4). By reducing biblical narratives to political slogans, this fallacy distorts theology to pressure believers into supporting a specific agenda, rather than seeking a balanced, biblically grounded approach to immigration and governance.

National Gift of he Ladybug Day – honors all children with critical illnesses. The day is also an opportunity to raise awareness of childhood illnesses and support the children and the families facing medical differences.

National Kazoo Day – silly instrument

National Blueberry Pancake Day – these are good

Data Privacy Day – be glad someone is looking out for you.

National Plan for Vacation Day – I’m pretty sure they want you to save money for the vacay

So, the reason for not letting the public know the purpose is what? A national security issue? Arbitrariness on the part of Biden’s handlers? A distraction from something illegal they were doing?

Afternoon All. It is fog here is thick, but high, so it doesn’t interfere with driving. I got up early, got dressed and took all my laundry to the laundromat. My washer isn’t hooked up yet, but this was blankets, quilts, etc. so I needed to go to the laundromat anyway. I just decided to do it all at once.

I am happier to wake up up these days. Can’t wait to see what new gets signed.

Hope you all are having a nice day.

Good afternoon, aus! The sun is shining brightly in my office window and it’s 28 degrees. Haven’t seen or heard the gardeners turn on the sprinklers, but the lawn is all wet. Maybe it rained earlier today.

That ever-present laundry needs to be done for me, too. Wasn’t that what Monday was for in our parents’ day?

      Take care!

I’m sure you probably have heard that the CIA now believes that Covid 19 originated as a lab leak from the Wuhan Virology Lab. What I JUST heard is that the report was held by the Biden administration until Biden was out of office, and Anthony Fauci had been pardoned. If you hear someone claiming that it was a partisan Trump CIA (laughable on its face) that made that determination, let them know that it was written by the CIA while Biden was still President. I heard this from Dr. Vinay Prasad.
