Good mornin’, Miss Wee! One of my favorite Christmas traditions. This place in San Antonio is on the TeeVee news every year because people will sit in their drive-thru for a couple hours or more to get this goodness every year.

Christmas Eve is our Mexican celebration. My MIL had the tradition for years and years and Mrs. T has continued on. I’m very happy with a multi-cultural meal.

Used to have a Mexican bakery in town where this tiny little old lady made these, with her family’s help, and came in and sold them on Saturday and Sunday mornings. If you didn’t get there early, they were gone.
I got some a few times, delicious. Around here, establishments like that, where no one speaks English, are not very friendly to those of us who do, so it was uncomfortable.

My dad (a master machinist) and I built an RC version of one exact in almost every detail, right down to the twin rotor turbo jet engines. It was huge, 8ft wingspan which we quickly learned was not at all easy to fly. It sounded killer just sitting on the deck warming up though. I do miss him dearly.

I hope. Just saw a post this morning on Twitter about some author, cant remember which one, who wrote than only the uneducated working class need to be brainwashed, my paraphrase there, can’t remember the proper word. The educated elites already are believers. This was written some time ago.
I have always respected and envied first class education at good schools and colleges, something that I didn’t pursue, and it would have been very difficult for me to obtain had I chosen it.
I just think there are very few schools and colleges left in the world providing such education. And I managed to get a pretty decent education on my own, although I absolutely never got polished.

Mornin’ All. Got up a little earlier and got our walk in. The temp has gone up and it is now 30*. It snowed a little last night, probably a 1/4 inch and is melting already. I have errands to run so I hope they have the main roads cleared.
