Good mornin’, Lucille! Those are mighty fancy for a country boy like me. Will I have to hold my pinky finger out whilst enjoying my coffee?

Here’s a mug for you, Texan, and all others for whom jumping into a swift-flowing river is preferable to involuntary pinky finger lifting.
https://www.itsallfare.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/copper-drinking-mugs.jpg
Just in case you’ve ever wondered…
“Raising a pinky finger while drinking tea, often considered a sign of being “fancy,” originated from the upper class in the 17th and 18th centuries, where small, delicate teacups with tiny handles required the pinky to help balance the cup while holding it with just the thumb and forefinger; since only the wealthy could afford such tea sets, the gesture became associated with high society and is now seen as an affectation of elegance, even though it’s no longer necessary with modern cups.” – AI

Our Favorite Sunday Columnist has some thoughts this week on drones, the Middle East, and the sh*t-show of pardons. Clarice was a lawyer in her working days and I trust her judgement when it comes to legal-eagle type stuff.

Edible pearls and diamonds atop your cupcake…

Since “cay herder” is an unfamiliar term, I checked with AI which said…
A “cay herder” is not a commonly used term, but based on the phrase “herding cats,” it would likely refer to someone who is trying to manage or control a very difficult or seemingly impossible situation, where the “cays” represent independent, unpredictable elements that are hard to keep organized, similar to how cats are challenging to herd together; essentially, it’s a metaphorical way of describing a person dealing with a chaotic situation that requires a lot of patience and skill to navigate.

i usually use my iPad for Stella’s because it is bigger and easier to read. Occasionally I use my Android phone. Today I discovered I can post on Stella’s without entering any info about me or my account. My iPad still requires I type in every letter of everything every post.
