Happy Wednesday, kids! Thank goodness that Don Jr. has solved his problem, it appears. A whole bunch of other people getting nominated for positions I’ve never heard of, and people much the same, but there are those on social media offering their opinions and for the most part everything seems to be looking up. This beauty here dates back to the 1900’s according to the site I found it on. The maker – the A.T. Schlichting Co. from Newark NJ, home of the modern-day Roswell UFO’s. Keep your head on a swivel and Carpe’ your coffee!

Morning Lucille! I once spent a night in Texarkana in an RV park, followed by two nights in Hope, Arkansas when the truck’s transmission gave out and caught on fire. Very exciting! I put out the fire with a pitcher of orange juice from the trailer’s refrigerator, and water from the ditch next to the highway.

Good afternoon, Stella! Exciting, indeed! Some quick thinking there. Hope, Arkansas is where Billy Jeff is from; so the town is probably cursed.

The men from the garage were very helpful. I was with my daughter (6 at the time) my mom, and my dad who was ill. I was driving their truck and trailer back from San Diego to Michigan. The men from Hope got us settled into a hotel, repaired the truck for a reasonable price, and fixed the rear view mirror.

Too much excitement, but you fleet of mind and foot.

        That makes all the difference.

One of the best uses of ditch water ever.

visited Cottonwood Canyon a few times during the season when the trees throw off their seeds, which are covered in cottony material so they float in the air. Besides filling the air with fluff, they make you sneeze.

There are some who don’t believe that St. Anthony of Fow-Chee would be able to escape punishment even if Brain-Freeze gives him a Federal pardon. I don’t know, but it wouldn’t hurt my feelers one bit for that weasel to have to face the music.

Mornin’ All. Got up early to try to make it to Bible Study this morning. So far it hasn’t snowed or rained. And, the sidewalks are not slick. However. it is in the low 20’s and all the little patches of snow on the grass are frozen solid into patches of ice. So, now it is dangerous to walk on the grass. 🙄

My kids came over last night and the grandkids decorated the tree for me. We had a great time. When the baby came in later and saw the decorated tree, he figured he would undecorated it. LOL. We didn’t let him.

Put a deposit down on the apartment. Now, I have to take care of all the details and get rid of some more “stuff” before moving day.

Hope your day is nice and you are healthy.

Morning mom! Good to hear that the move is under way. I still haven’t put up my tree. Have to get cracking on it!

Good day, aus. Glad you had fun with the grandkids decorating your tree. No tree this year for me.

Best of luck with the packing. Sometimes you just have to get ruthless when it comes to getting rid of stuff. I try thinking that if I haven’t used or worn something in five years, to the humane society thrift shop it goes.

      Take care!

      Congratulations on your new apartment.

Prayers that they’ll do the “fix up” before you move in, as a part of their Christmas spirit.

Is it in writing, what they will do?

All the Secret Santa videos are wonderful. This one is particularly touching. Love enables a person to be superhuman at times. It’s inspiring and encouraging not only to those who have the opportunity to see it in person, but to those who hear about it. To find that this man is a public servant only adds to the admiration one feels for him.

Love this news station. It’s headquartered in Idaho Falls which is down southeast about 480 miles from where I live. If you look at a map, Idaho Falls doesn’t look that far from the Wyoming border. However, because of the terrain, pretty as it may be, it takes over 7!! hours to drive.

I’m dropping a link to Blancolirio here (re the drone sightings) because, as I recall, some of you have sort of followed his aviation channel. He’s always pretty even-spoken and doesn’t get too excited about anything one way or the other. He seems to simply try to sift through what is known/unknown.

What caught my attention in this 10 minute bit is at about the 7 minute point, where he points out the current regulation supposedly governing operation of drones is set to expire in a week and a half or so. I saw reports elsewhere about hearings being held, so this bit of info helped document WHY they are suddenly interested in looking like they are noticing or something. It’s apparently not incidental: it’s because the current regulations are about to expire.

Anyway – here’s the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0x3d7maSMc&ab_channel=blancolirio I often spend as much time reading the comments as taking in the main body because a lot of knowledgeable peeps weigh in.
