Happy Thanksgiving Menagerie! I got a lot of prep done yesterday, so not so much to do today. Also, since I am roasting the turkey in parts, it doesn’t take so long. Pumpkin and cherry pie for dessert, not made by me.

Amen! When I got married I really couldn’t boil water. There’s a melted coffee pot that caught on fire story in my bride days!
My kind and wise mother in law had me bring tomatoes, which I always got free from my dad’s produce business, until she and my husband’s grandmother had me able to cook a few things. Then more, then better.

I tried that new recipe for stuffing muffins. Only, I used cornbread. I know. Bad idea to do it the first time at Thanksgiving. But, actually someone else is making the stuffing. I just knew I would never try it any other time.

Happy Thanksgiving all. It is in the 20’s here and only a smatter of snow. My son is coming to get me anyway. I am still very nervous about driving over all those bridges I have to go over to get to his house. They all freeze.
