The older I get, the dumber I feel. I visit this site on my Mac desktop, Google Chrome and Edge and it’s amazing how I have to do completely different things to post depending on the browser. Edge is the worst of the three.

In the governmental world, it makes perfect sense. Personally, I’d bet the Amish cabins exceed their codes. And I dealt with building codes for a number of years, I’m not being sarcastic here.
If they want to fail you, they will, and the reality of what is does not matter, it’s all bureaucracy.

Morn all. Hopefully going to church. Somebody is supposed to pick me up, but it has started snowing again. May not happen. It is coming down harder now. Oh, well, life in the North I guess.
Hope your weather is nice where you are. I just read that the power is off near me. Now I am worried about leaving my doggie here because it will get really cold fast here if the power goes out. Well, will figure something out.

Well, the couple picked me up and we started making our way toward the church, but the roads got so bad we didn’t get but a mile or so. In fact, we saw pickup trucks stalled on a hill because they couldn’t get up it and that was the way we would have had to go back. But this couple has been here for years and knew another back way, so we turned around and they brought me home. We tried anyway.

I may try this, only with cornbread instead of sour dough. I wanted to take some cornbread dressing because I really don’t care much for bread dressing because it is mushy, and doesn’t taste like cornbread dressing. I figure I can do this without insulting anybody.
