Two notes – Pothole Pete was Mayor of South Bend. Not the state of IN. Much smaller. Gina Raimondo was in private equity but knows nothing about manufacturing jobs or anything except how to raid the coffers when stripping down a company you just bought with PE money.

And that fact is made abundantly clear by the fact that most, “G.I. Jane” notwithstanding, can’t even make it through training and meet the standards set for men in the same roles.
What Hegseth said on that point was exactly right: women in combat roles have not made the military “more effective” or “more lethal.”

So many folks are troubled by the RFK nomination. Perhaps that might be because they have never heard one of his speeches or seen an interview and don’t realize how coolheaded he is. He’s firm in his beliefs and has stats and facts to back them up. He’s a persuader, not an insulter. I think he will do very well in his confirmation hearings even though the Dems and Never-Trumpers will do all they can to rattle him.

afternoon all. cloudy and overcast and in the low 30*, I guess because it is winter.
found out yesterday that they have been messing around with the waitlist I am on. I have been on it for 2 years and was #26. last year I was #15. now I am #19 on the 2 bdrm and #25 0n the 1 bdrm. it makes no sense but I did have a feeling about it. dint know what I can do.
well, gotta get busy, going to my kids for dinner. hope that storm fizzles out and you all have a nice day.
