I don’t know how well any of these will turn out, but what I do know is that none of them are likely to stick a shiv in their boss’s back like happened last time, and any of ’em have to be better than what’s keeping the seats warm now. They all have national exposure and they’re all aware of what to expect as they’ve all been through the ringer on the political stage, except Hegseth. Just have to get them past the squishy r’s like Murkowski.

the only thing I know about Gaetz is that so many hate him and are angry that he exposed some of what was going on against Trump. (interesting that Trump doesn’t get automatically italicized.)
