Good mornin’, and Happy Hump Day! We all survived yesterday, albeit a bit stressed. While posting this we don’t have a winner yet, but once again I’m going to be with a bit of pep in my step. We’re gonna have to go big today to keep up our strength. Keep your head on a swivel and Carpe your coffee.

For those who can’t see it, the text reads:

After Trump gave his victory speech, this began to ring out….
(They were all at the right rally!)

And they joined in a beautiful a capella rendition of How Great Thou Art.

No kidding, I started thinking this way about a year into Biden’s reign. Sometimes it’s better to let the sh!t burn and start over.

I feel like there’s a lot of hope, a lot of talent, a lot of potential, and much more unity, from the very wonderful mix of races, ages, and so on voters to the eclectic mix of talent gathered behind President Trump. The different ways people contributed to the win, from blogs, podcasts, YouTube, to men on the street, people who go out and sign up the Amish to vote, young black men who dare to challenge the status quo on social media. All of us, we saw a phenomenal groundswell of talent and passion.

Four years ago we did not have Vance, Musk, Kennedy, Gabbard, maybe Carlson, Megan Kelly, and what about Nicole Shanahan? I think she’s been brilliant.

I know there are probably already hundreds of moans at the Tree about these people, and no, I am not willing to see them set loose without oversight. I know the very deep and fundamental divisions in our governing philosophies. But I still believe in our Republic, and for me that means I believe that we share a seat at the table with some individuals who are not our clones, and we hammer out a way to govern we can all work with.

I also believe we should give no quarter to saboteurs and traitors. Merrick Garland needs to be prosecuted, among others.

Not a danged one of us gets the whole pie. I vehemently and quite resentfully disagree with those on our side who look to have people pass the MAGA purity test. It’s just as dangerous as drinking the liberal kool aid and I’ll have none of it.

Anyhow, I really have a little candle of hope, in humanity, and in our American future. I think this is a better chance for us.

But you wait and see, many of the people next door will E freaking mediatly jump on the bandwagon to purge the ranks.

You said it, sister! I believe that the current Trump team members have one thing in common: They love the USA and want to right the ship. Honest people always have disagreements, but as long as they agree on that one BIG thing, they can work together to get it done.

I don’t know of any perfect people. I’m certainly not one. Do I agree with everything that RFK Jr. believes? No. I love Elon, but I don’t agree with him all of the time either. That’s because we are all human with our own opinions. On the other hand, I do think we have a solid group with good motives, and that’s a great start.

    American Exceptionalism

By Dr. Francis Christian – November 6, 2024

As I drove across America this summer, I met scores of beautiful people – ordinary Americans, generous, open, folksy, even self-deprecating Americans – who seemed to inherit either through the blood that flowed in their veins or by a transfusion of that blood, a unique albeit subconscious awareness of their unique destiny amongst the nations.

And like Louis Armstrong, I thought to myself – what a wonderful people! And what an enormous tragedy that their ruling class is so pathetically unworthy of them!

Today, America is the envy of the world, including for us here in Canada.
