Good mornin’, and Happy Monday kids! 24 hours until unmitigated chaos and turmoil kicks in. We better be hydrated and irrigated and whatever else we need have to be ready for the slings and arrows that we know are coming. This is a model from a company called Gaggia and it says it was from 1952. Keep your head on a swivel and Carpe your coffee.

Have a good evening, Czarina! No job to take action on but am glad those who broadcast traffic reports do have same, along with those who are inspired by the Chicken Lady’s projects. In my case, the energy to roast coffee, meat, veggies and nuts has left the building. However, I’m glad those who love to roast have a fun time of it and that everyone enjoys the results.

afternoon all. overcast and dreary out so far at 37*.
there were 3 cop cars outside my bldg when we went out for a walk. they arrested a woman and took her off in a cop car. she was sitting in her running car with a window open and was twitching and acting funny. a neighbor called 911. this is getting bad.
well, got things to do. hope you avoid all tornadoes and other bad weather.

Just saw “Conclave.” If you are interested in a film about the Catholic Church that could have been written by the editorial board of the New York Times, this is your movie. The hierarchy of the Church is a hotbed of ambition, corruption and desperate egotism, Conservatives are xenophobic extremists and the liberals are self-important schemers. None can escape this irredeemable situation. The only way forward is the embrace of the progressive buzz words of diversity, inclusion, indifference to doctrine, and the ultimate solution is a virtue signaling Cardinal who takes the Papal name of Innocent and who is a biological female. Since it checks practically every woke box, I’m sure it will win a boatload of awards, but my advice is to run away from it as fast as you can.
