Good mornin’, and Happy Sunday, kids! Today should be a day of rest so we should only need to refill this bad boy a couple of times. It holds six gallons every fill-up. Yesterday was quite productive as Mrs. T and I both got our voting done. There was a short line an everyone there seemed to be in a good mood so I’m pretty sure we’re all playing for the same team since most of the real commie’s are on the other side. Keep your head on a swivel and Carpe your coffee!

Hahaha! My husband is limited to decaf right now. We brew two pots, me having lovingly declined his gracious invitation to just drink what he does. I might later succumb, but for now, I’m holding out!

He’s totally off sugar too, but if ya ask me, the coffee situation is worse. And man, hunting down ALL the sugar is a PITA.
I’ve been cooking healthier over the years, learning more, but no by cooks entirely from scratch. It’s really, really hard to feed a person no sugar at all unless you want to cook all day.
Or unless I could get him to just go carnivore!

Kinda cold this morning, but bright and pretty.
Hannah went in the lake already, so I had to spray her off to remove the mud and trash. Not nice at 58*, but I could not let her in the house. We are both wet and cold now.

National Civics Day – probably ought to teach it every year, not just 9th grade
National Black Cat Day – never had one. Just never had one choose to adopt me, since most of my cats have just shown up or been handed to me.

Morning czarina! I’m all for teaching civics every year too. Never had a mother-in-law. My husband’s mother wasn’t in the picture at all when we were married. My daughter had a good one though.

Good day, Czarina! Yes, to all black kitties. My little blackie, Tobias Jeremiah, was a stray that started living in our backyard. He passed many years ago of cancer but I still think of him often. Just an adorable boy.
