Good mornin’ and Happy Friday! One thing we have to do during the onslaught that will continue up through the election is show strength. To me, this coffee maker shows just that! It’s big and it’s solid! We cannot let up. Keep your head on a swivel and Carpe your coffee!

I think, and apparently the left thinks that the current SCOTUS is one of the most significant groups we’ve had in DC in a long time. Albeit for different reasons. My hope is that they continue to chip away at what is the monolith, the monster octopus that has its tentacles everywhere in our everyday lives. There are a couple more cases with them this term that could knock some more bricks out of that administrative wall that has been built over the last 100 years.

National Merri Music Day – encourages music lovers around the globe to learn about the historical movement that has influenced musical genres in Jamaica and the world.

National Frankenstein Friday – classic reading.

National Greasy Foods Day – a relief after the healthy food yesterday!!!

National Breadstick Day – overlooked I think.

National Pharmacy Buyer Day – a pharmacy buyer makes sure a sufficient and current supply is available

Sourest Day – If life is giving you lemons or you feel like a grumpy Gus, this day is for you. Take your glass-half-full attitude and spread the joy -er- gloom. Smiles be banished! Replace them all with pouts and terrible frowns. Wallow in your petulant mood. Take sulking to new lows. Frown like a clown catching the midnight train outta town. Develop a harrumph worth trademarking. Scowl so foul that people will catch a whiff of it before they even see you. When walking by a skein of yarn, it should leap onto your brow already knitted. That’s just how sour you need to be on this day.

Chucky the Notorious Killer Doll Day – considered leaving this one out, since nobody here has expressed any interest in this horrible movie series

    Fire Prevention Month

Archbishop Vigano: Open Letter to American Catholics — Kamala Harris is an Infernal Monster Who Obeys Satan

By Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò Oct. 25, 2024 11:15 am

    Dear Faithful American Catholics,

I am addressing all of you, a few days before the Presidential Election that will call millions of American citizens to the polls.

Even in conditions of relative normality, the exercise of the vote is your moral duty, through which you cooperate in the first person in choosing the person who will lead the Nation for the next four years.

But in this coming electoral round – just as in 2020 and indeed much more so – you are not simply called to choose between two candidates who happen to be on different political sides but who both nevertheless have the common good at heart in compliance with the Constitution and the Law.

No; in this election you must choose between two radically opposed ways of conceiving the government of your Nation: you are called to choose between democracy and dictatorship, between freedom and slavery.

Beware of new scam involving unsolicited packages, QR codes inside

    https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/beware-of-new-scam-involving-unsolicited-packages-qr-codes-inside

But Hamerstone and Akron Police said it should come off as a red flag if that package does not include the sender’s information or it is not from a known retailer and asks you to scan a QR code to find out who sent the gift.

If you do scan it, experts say all your personal and financial information on your phone will be sent to scammers.
