Good day, Texan! In Beverly Hills there used to be (and may still be) a derrick up the street from my office. It looked like a regular building. I think it was Occidental-owned.

Looked up Oxy Permian Roxanne. Occidental Petroleum modified its name to Oxy. Permian refers to the Permian Basin. Can’t find any reference to Roxanne, making me wonder if they name their wells.

Yes, wells in the Permian Basin are often named. For example, one of the earliest and most famous wells was named Santa Rita by a group of Catholic investors, hoping for success12. Naming wells can help in identifying and tracking them, especially given the large number of wells in the region.

I am 2/3 here today. Like you, I don’t generally do late. It’s a phobia of sorts.
If my kids and grandkids learn nothing else from me, they will learn that to be late is a terrible arrogance, and you tell the other involved parties they are unworthy and not to be regarded. And they hopefully have learned that to lie to someone is also arrogance, and you tell the person you lie to that they are stupid, too stupid to even know that you utterly disrespect them.
I value punctuation, honesty, respect. And to lie and be late is to also humiliate myself.

Good day, Czarina! These national and international days of celebrating some action, food, or organization are well and good since they often serve as reminders of ways in which we can be of assistance to others. However, having a Be Late For Something Day? Ridiculous! Is there a national Be On Time Day? How about having a Treat Others As you Wish To Be Treated Day?
“Yes!” to International Day of Charity (as long as you have fully vetted the organization). Having a cheese pizza day for underprivileged children would fit right in under this banner.
