Mornin’, Miz WeeWeed! And with the recent election of radical leftie Keir Starmer as the new PM, England gets ushered straight into a dictatorship. Something these young men and women in the King’s Guard likely did not anticipate. It’s what happens when you have an unvetted immigration policy…your country gets ripped right out from under you and you get to go to jail just for stating that opinion. Freedom of speech has left the building.

I had a great aunt who made the most wonderful Lemon Meringue Pie. It was perfect, just sweet enough, not too tart, and a great crust. Best Lemon Meringue I ever had to this day. It still gives me a happy feeling when I think of it.

My Momma did, too – but it involved double boilers, trashing the kitchen, etc. and I had to do the dishes. I think I put up with it – twice.

Good day, Czarina! ABSOLUTELY YES to lemon meringue pie!
But National Back to School Month? When I was in K-14, the California public school year began in September but now it’s in August. The change came about so that the “winter” (formerly known as “Christmas”) break is between semesters. However, Oregon and Washington still start in September. Don’t know what the other states’ schedules are.
Leathercraft can be relaxing. My nephews make their own belts.
