Good mornin’, and Happy Monday, kids! Well, Sunday was rather fun, don’t you think? What I think right now is that we’re gonna need a lot of coffee, so we’re going with a classic. Coffee up, y’all, it’s gonna be a bit bumpy for awhile.

Good mornin’, Miss Wee! I’m pretty sure they can just cross through the name and pencil in anything and it will read – Not Trump! The good news is that the other side may not have anyone figured out until almost Labor Day. Good for no momentum, but bad for having to fight a ghost. I’m pretty sure I know that feeling with the coffee up above!

      😉

While we are all swimming in uncharted territory right now, one opinion is that FJB may have gotten the ultimate double-cross in on those who worked to topple the Big Guy at the top.

Afternoon All. Another hot day and it’s a little hazy out.

I watched some of the questioning of the FBI head and was pleased that some of the Dems actually had good questions. Of course, Cheatle had no good answers. I envision her going off to a room to cry when this is over. I wouldn’t be surprised if she quits, which is what she should do, but may not.

For some reason I had trouble getting on to websites this morning. I finally unplugged the WIFI and then it started working. I am glad that was all it took to fix it.

Well, hope everyone is safe and healthy.

National Penuche Fudge Day – never had any

National Fragile X Awareness Day- causes mental retardation and behavioral problems, mostly in males

National Mango Day – my mother loved them, but could not touch the peel. Causes a poison ivy type reaction.

National Hammock Day I’ve got two, but never hung them up!

My mother made penuche frosting for her applesauce cake. It is a very sweet brown sugar confection. Nice on that cake.

A coworker of mine made the mistake of climbing a mango tree when he was in Hawaii. BAD mistake! As you mention:

Mango and poison ivy share a common compound called urushiol, a potent allergen responsible for triggering skin reactions. Urushiol is found in the sap of mango trees and the skin of their fruit, as well as in poison ivy, poison oak, and other plants of the Anacardiaceae family.

I now have a grandson (through marriage to my son) who has fragile x. His mother is a teacher for special needs children, and her work with him has really helped him do much better than most children who have it.

Consequently now, as a senior in high school, because he’s outperforming his expectations, the government wants to take away his insurance and other benefits. He’s is profoundly impacted, and will never live independently, or do so many other things. But gosh, he’s doing better than he should, so let’s take his benefits away and bring in a few more illegals.

Yes, I’m bitter. The care he needs would never be attainable without these benefits. Essentially, what it boils down to, is he and his mother will be punished for her dedication and hard work with him all these years.

The new American way. If you work for something, someone else gets rewarded and you get shafted.

I think that Republicans should keep pressing for the invocation of the 25th amendment. First, it would make Kamala president for long enough that the country can see how she does in the job. It would also cement her place on the ballot in November.
