Queen Sheila, she of the Triple Crown Weave, the Emperess of Houston’s 3rd Ward has passed away at 74. In DC for right at 30 years and year after year voted one of the worst bosses in that city. That takes some work. She never met a camera she didn’t love, or a funeral that she wanted to miss.

Good mornin’, and Happy Saturday! Time to get outside and commune with nature until it gets too warm. A cowboy pot is going and will stay on all day, because we never know what might come out of that beach house in DE. Need to get our strength up for the afternoon rally as well! National Moon Day – how many of ya’all watched the TV for the first steps?

National Fortune Cookie Day – watched a show on the History Channel about how they were invented and are still made

Mornin’ all ya’all! We’ve been getting rain every day and expected every day for the next week. Coming in about 1/2”- 1” a day, mostly in the afternoons which keeps us cooler. Lawn is getting out of hand, tho.
My sister in Virginia says they are in a drought.

Just had to turn off the local news. They were talking to some shrink about kids and PTSD because of our “storms” down here. Time to start toughening them up. Strap a couple to a sturdy tree and let ’em ride it out. If it was good enough for ol Dan Rather, it’s good enough for these young’uns today! That’ll get their mind right.

Afternoon All. Sunny here with haze over the mountains. The air conditioner is. running more in the late afternoon and evening. Glad my electric bill is not any higher than it is.
Not sure what I will accomplish for today. I hope something. LOL.
