National Koi Day – need a koi pond first. Probably have to fight off the predator critters out here

National Dive Bar Day – used to be a great dive bar on Tulane Avenue in NO: Nick’s Big Train Bar. Had panties hanging from the ceiling. Invented a bunch of great drinks like the grasshopper.
National Macaroni Day – watched a documentary on how noodles with tunnels in them are made

I’m an afficionado of the Dive Bar……or at least I was when we stayed out after dark. Most of the good ones in the HOU have been turned into condo’s, or parking lots, but they had a bunch of ’em back in the day. Here’s one that’s now a parking lot, but was a ton of fun.
