    Time to head outside for some cowboy coffee. Carpe your coffee this morning and have a chuckle or two over the “interview” from last night! PawPaw is in trouble, and I don’t think CornPop has much to worry about anymore.

        Good mornin’, Menage! I’m all tore up about the pickle they find themselves in. But I don’t chuckle too loudly as our team can find more ways to shoot themselves in both feet on a regular basis and put us behind another 8-ball at the drop of a hat.

          Briefly argued with my husband about that this morning. This normally brutally living in reality man somehow thinks that, seeing the opportunity, and the dire straits we are in, our side is professional enough to know how to counter them, and that they finally maybe will. And also that they will muster at least enough effort to counter their cheating. 🤷‍♀️

          He’s always been smart heretofore.

          I, OTOH, believe there is no level of incompetence the Rs can’t reach, and no limit on the cheating the Ds can produce.

          I will say this, I think that so many people of all ages, races, colors, religions, and political persuasions are going to vote for President Trump that every single fake ballot possible must be produced and counted thriple.

    Chest freezer died, so I spent the last hour transferring to the stand up freezer and cleaning the floors.

    I’m watching the storm, which has moved closer daily, but forecasters are speaking the line from NOAH and the National Hurricane Center that we will only get 60% chance of feeder band rain Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

    Went to the orthopedist yesterday for knee pain and it turns out my right knee is bone on bone and needs replacement. Left knee is bad but not urgent, since it hurts less. My mother was delighted with hers back in 2002, so it’s just a matter of scheduling 8 weeks recovery.

      I had both knees replaced. Very glad I did. Pain was less from the moment I woke from the surgery. I didn’t think the PT was bad either, if you’re in decent shape going into it, and I was a heavy walker. But I saw a lot of people who refused to do the work because of the pain, and their results and range of motion were not as good.

        Also, another weird thing. My pain level and recoveries were very different. With the second knee I had almost no pain at all after surgery, barely needed Tylenol, and the therapist pronounced me done after three weeks. Doctor said that was not uncommon at all. No one knows why.

    Mornin’ All. It is 65* and very hot in the sun with no breeze. A summer day, I guess. We have to enjoy them while we can.

    Hope all of you in the “h” zone are ready for it. I always hated having to put away all of the outside chairs and things. Anyway, hope you all stay safe.
