There is absolutely nothing the Feds don’t think they need to stick their nose in and screw up. Now, some of those dillweeds want to set some homeschool standards. They’ve done so well with their government indoctrination schools; they want to finish the job.

We’ve had homeschooling standards for quite a while now. 1, it’s the entrance exam to any college worth its salt, and 2, the ability to survive and thrive as an adult. Every parent teaches to at least one, if not both of those. Based on those standards, how do the public schools measure up?

Mornin’ all ya’all! Still in Portland, but got a good night’s sleep in a hotel and breakfast on the airline’s dime. Scheduled flight to Charlotte was delayed so much again today I would have arrived at midnight, so staff rearranged everything so now I leave at 10:30 (delayed from 7:17 this morning) for Chicago, then to Dallas, and finally to Gulfport arriving at 7:00 p.m. Anything to get out of Portland!

finally got out of Portland . Now in Dallas with an oversold, overheated plane. They said the interior is 108*.

Afternoon All. Beautiful day here, slightly cool with hot sun and clear blue sky. I see clouds off in the distance. Don’t know what that means.
I had computer problems yesterday and spent most of the day trying to straighten them out. They had done an update and every time they do that it messes up something. I have to call Spectrum today and see if I can get my phone fixed. A friend has been trying to call me for the last couple of weeks and can’t get through. My phone keeps telling her I am not available. I don’t even know how to check on that.
