    Mornin’ all ya’all! Bright and shiny here in Gulfport. Traveling today to Charlotte NC then Portland ME for a weeklong vacay. Usual weather is mid 70*s, but Weather Channel has this week in the 90*s. I’ll let you know.

    Good mornin’, kids! We made it to Friday, even with the nonsense going on as noted in the very first post of the morning. I’m guessing no one told FJB that he was in charge of the biggest superpower of the free world. No details on this model below, but it’s interesting with the glass top and bowl so you can watch your lifeblood being brewed. Carpe your diem, kids. It’s all-hands-on-deck from now until November!

    No doubt that this is not necessarily THE sign that the bubble is popping, but it is surely A sign. MN university is dropping 42 degree programs and 50 minor programs. You will giggle when you find out some that are going away. Suffice it to say there will be gnashing of teeth from some snowflakes. But they end in “studies”.

    National Cucumber Day – one of the few foods we eat without cooking. Also lettuce.

    Wear Blue Day – for men’s health

    National Movie Night – easier since Blockbuster, then streaming services

    National New Mexico Day – can’t say I’ve ever been there

    Army Birthday – Czar would have celebrated with Bourbon

    National Bourbon Day – you know who you are and what you’ll do

    National Pop Goes the Weasel Day – sing the song?

    National Strawberry Shortcake Day – one of my favorites that is not chocolate

    Flag Day – perhaps a bourbon toast?

    Mornin’ All. It is almost 70* with a perfectly blue, clear sky. Very, very nice.

    My grandkids are coming over this afternoon and I didn’t get much of anything done yesterday. I had to send some info to the State about my state income tax. There is a special refund I am supposed to get because I am old and poor, but they wanted proof. I spent from morning until late afternoon trying to send it to them. We pay rent online here which sounds really easy. But, they changed programs last year near the end and I can’t get into the old one to get that information. Hopefully what I sent will work. Anyway, I need to get going to prepare for them this afternoon.

    Have any of you heard about this? A possible way to keep Steve Bannon out of the pokey. Could have been used for Peter Navarro as well.
