With the flour de lis up-top, the device is likely from France or perhaps Quebec. Wherever, it is wonderful.
Perhaps we need to go back a couple of months and make a separate post just for these coffee-maker photos you’ve posted.

I’ve seen some FB posts about this, so I snooped around and found out that it’s accurate. A new 2300-acre solar farm is going up in CA. No big deal but they have to cut down thousands of Joshua trees and the area is home to desert tortoises. I guess these trees and animals are only good if our side wants to do something.

Would you look at this. Fewer people might need to be on statins according to a new survey. Apparently, this is one that pharma didn’t pay for.

Very timely article. I saw the doctor yesterday and she brought up the “s” word. I told her no statins. I will, however, look into alternatives if they exist. I have lost about 12 lbs, so that is a start.

Good day, aus! My Mom was on statins for the last 15 years of her life. I made the mistake of trusting that her doctor knew best on how to treat her high blood pressure and very much suspect now that much of her debilitating symptoms during her final year were side effects from this drug.
When my doctor wanted to put me on statins at first I thought I’d try it for a few months to see what happened. Good thing I decided not take them at all because lowering my cholesterol was accomplished perfectly via taking plant sterols and stanols.

NatureMade sells CholestOff Plus. It has 900 mg plant sterols & stanols. I take these softgels two at a time at my two largest meals. Some people take two at only their largest meal.
You might have to shop around to get the best deal. Costco, Walmart, Amazon are usually the cheapest.

This is a rather spectacular day with nary an issue with any of those. Mrs. T swears that she was given jerky as a baby for fussiness and teething. Any of the rest of y’all?

Mornin All. I guess it is summer. It was 55* when we got up, with little breeze and was so comfortable. There is a perfectly clear blue sky. Can’t see even a cloud. The wind was blowing like crazy last evening. I checked the weather to see if it was supposed to rain or something. It said the wind speed was only 8 MPH and the humidity was 92%. Shocked, I rechecked it and realized that was in Florida not here. Here the wind speed was 20 MPH and 25% humidity. That sounded more reasonable. LOL
Got up early and took my car to Discount Tires to get the snow tires changed back. They charged less than I expected. I got there just as they were opening up and without an appointment they got me right in and I was out of there in a half hour. If you get caught on the road here with snow tires on the car after May 30, you can be fined $380. Dodged a bullet on that one.

A popular fitness center has embraced a radical transgender bathroom policy and has banned staff from wearing apparel adorned with American flags and U.S. logos.
“We’ve committed to creating a more inclusive environment at 24 Hour Fitness,” read a memorandum obtained by Libs of TikTok, “recognizing that we have work to do to become stronger allies in support of those who are impacted by systemic oppression and inequality.”
