    Stellars….

    Look for the light….

    “When night falls on the earth, the sea

    From east to west lies twinkling bright

    With shining beams from beacons high

    Which flash afar a friendly light.” – Helen Hunt Jackson

    The lights of Paris…

    “Do not go gentle into that good night,

    Old age should burn and rave at close of day;

    Rage, rage against the dying of the light.” – Dylan Thomas

      Good mornin’, Lucille! It truly is the end of an era. The funny thing about this show is that it literally takes me back two generations. This became a favorite of my grandma. Besides me, two of her joys were The Price is Right and “The Wheel”. While I haven’t watched 10 minutes of the show in the last 30 years, it takes me back to a simpler time and place and makes me smile, just a little bit.

    Good mornin’, and Happy Friday kids! Wanted to go a little rustic today with this replica of a Civil War copper coffee pot. This one was made in the early 1900’s, so it’s old, just not Civil War old. Enjoy, carpe your diem and keep your powder dry.

    “The Scarf” has another brilliant idea to try and scare the rubes once again. Test every cow, every week, and the dairy workers for something that has afflicted 2-3 cows and dairy workers so far. It’s bird flu this time. We’re not falling for it anymore, madame.

    Whistleblower about children’s “surgery” arrested and charged with four felonies. Based on the article, I would say it’s overcharging and could have a very good chance at being dismissed. But FJB’s DOJ doesn’t miss an opportunity to ruin someone else’s life and try to bankrupt and smear them across the media. I’m speculating that this doc is from our tribe, but I can’t confirm that. Likely, but not confirmed. Don’t go off the reservation, or we will hunt you down.

      What should we expect anymore? There are very few upstanding folks willing to go through the televised colonoscopy that is today’s politics. You are seeing the efforts of years of bitter acrimony and the chasing out of the process of people who actually care about their constituents, rather than lining their own pockets. This comment is aimed at most of ’em. We’ve got plenty in our corral who really like DC for what it is – “Hollywood for ugly people” and the chance to line their pockets. We don’t have quite as many as the other team, but we have enough of them.

    Biden apparently is still trying to make a comparison between Reagan and himself. As you know, Reagan gave a famous speech at this same spot in 1984. See my D-Day post yesterday.

    President Joe Biden delivers a speech at 10:00 a.m. ET on June 7 about freedom and democracy on a rugged stretch of coast which was the scene of the D-Day landings in France 80 years ago.
