    National Grape Day

National Grape Popsicle Day – like grapes and grape popsicles, but to me they are nothing alike, in that popsicles don’t taste like grapes.

National Cellophane Tape Day – mundane item; needed but never celebrated!

    Memorial Day

On this solemn day, let’s go with some class. Coffee up, y’all, and give thanks to those who gave everything so we could be here today.

An Ohio mural dedicated to George Floyd has collapsed after it was reportedly struck by lightning Tuesday.

Police in Toledo confirmed that a bolt of lightning struck the building and caused the section of wall adorned with the large mural to collapse, reducing it to rubble, WTOL reported.

Afternoon All. Beautiful day here. It was 50* with little wind and a mostly sunny sky. It is supposed to get much warmer, too.

It was an unusual day in church yesterday. When Pastor had the children up for the children’s sermon, one little boy was talking very loud. Pastor went over and touched him on the head and must have told him to be quiet. The kid just went back to talking. I guess his mother was up there with another child and she went over and made him stop. Then later after they had all gone back to their seats, a mother who was near me at the back of the church got up and went down the aisle and walked across right in front of the Pastor to go get, I think it was, the same boy who was sitting with the Pastor’s kids on the front row. Then, she walked back with him across the front again, right in front of the pastor within inches of him. LOL. I think she really didn’t realize what she had done.

Then my DIL had taken my 5 month old grandson out for some reason, to nurse or a diaper change. And, when they were passing the plate, she came back in and he threw up all over her and the seat and the floor. She jumped up and took him out and the elders passing the plate skipped our row and went to get some paper towels to help. I had not realized what happened until my DIL got up because the baby was turned away from me. So, we cleaned up the mess. Then I looked over and my oldest granddaughter was crying to my son. She was upset because she wasn’t able to put the envelop in the plate. I told her I would take care of it and he got her calmed down and went to get something else to help clean. Then, I went out into the vestibule and saw another puddle of throw up and stopped to guard it to keep anyone from stepping in it ,slipping, and falling. My son and DIL got more paper towels and cleaned that up. Next, I was in the bathroom and heard a child crying very loudly and went out to find my youngest granddaughter crying to my son. I never did find out what that was about. They decided to go home at that point. LOL

Normally things are very quiet and organized on Sunday morning.

Hope your day is weatherly uneventful.
